Humble brag... Did a bracket contest starting with sweet 16. Got every pick right. Granted, mostly chalk- but still..
Is that what the trophy icon next to your handle is for?

Obvious proof of either some sort of karmic curse or, more likely, institutional fan deficiency that manifests in these losses. What other explanation could there be?
Houston has by far the strongest basketball tradition out of any school in the state, but its UTEP and Baylor that have the National Title Trophies in Mens basketball.
Houston and Tech have each lost heartbreaking National Title games that would have changed the trajectory of their schools and athletic departments....... and each of them choked.
Baylor is in the same category of athletic department as Tech and Houston. The only difference is they've won the last 4 National Champion Games their mens and womens basketball teams have played in. People under 30 don't remember Baylor being horrible at sports.
I really thought Houston was going to pull it off tonight.

Congratulations to Florida for rallying from a 42-30 deficit with 16:24 left to defeat Houston 65-63 in the Men's Basketball National Championship Game to win their 3rd national championship and 1st since 2007. Florida pulled off the third-largest comeback (12 points) in national championship history, tied with Kentucky in 1998. Also, Todd Golden comes the second-youngest coach to win a national title in NCAA history at 39 years and 9 months old.
In my bracket, I had busts in every round before the Elite 8, but I correctly predicted Florida would defeat Houston in the Championship Game. This is the second straight year I correctly predicted both the March Madness winner and the runner-up, and the first time that I correctly predicted the Final Four teams.

If this is troll account then it's awesome, if it's a staff AI account then it's sad, if it's serious then?

Florida scores 20 points in the second half and makes 17 free throws. Riveting stuff. First half was fun at least. But that was Houston's game

What's interesting there is I think Sharp could have dribbled it.
Not an expert so could very well be wrong. But don't think it matters that he never dribbled before. Since he jumped it's like a shot. He can't be the first to touch it since it was an air ball.
This is correct. Since both feet left the ground, he has to shot or pass. It doesn't matter that he hasn't dribbled yet.
Ya know what....touche...always is a strong word....but I still stand by my statement. You look back at history and there are pivotal games that end up deciding how a school is measured and looked at.JJxvi said:Quote:

Always is BS. Its just random chance, which is partially my point with those ridiculous posts. It could be Baylor as easily as Houston. And if you shook up all the dice and replayed the last 50 years again, thered be totally new sets of teams that "always tend to rise up" or "always fold"
They showed the dancers. I'm a Gator so obviously can't relate to some A&M traditions, but no female cheerleaders is no bueno.achooooo said:
Glad someone else confirmed that A&M was not in the One Shining Moment video. I didn't see us but the video moved pretty fast. I thought maybe I missed our "shining "moment" but I didn't rewatch it.
