Yeah, why chase another job when you can be the mayor of a nice Midwest city and lead a beloved mid-major?
It goes back to this idea that we're not good against three point shooting teams. That's not really the case. We actually tend to do pretty well against three point shooting teams if that's the only thing they're great at.BaytownAg13 said:

We don't struggle against great three point shooting teams, we struggle when we turn great passing teams and great dribble penetration teams into great three point shooting teams.

This game goes back to what's truly the worst case scenario in a bracket, a team that plays just like you but is better at it. Like when we play Houston.

Meh. We've showed we can beat em once, and I wouldn't mind doing it again. Out of Auburn, Creighton and Louisville, I wanted Louisville the most.
Haven't been watching but definitely surprised to see Creighton whooping up on Louisville. Looks like they're shooting insane like tu did until they unraveled into the 2nd half
Creighton is very bad at allowing offensive rebounds, fouling, forcing turnovers on defense, and they turn it over too much. Hopefully they win this pod…
Well yeah, I think Louisville is the most obvious best matchup for us, though I don't mind the Creighton matchup all that much either compared to playing Auburn.

They need to guard someone. They'd have to shoot like 80% to catch them if they don't figure out something on defense.

Most of the time this season we guarded the three pretty well, and most of the times we didn't were against really elite teams. Did we have some games where we didn't? Yeah, we had some bad defensive games, especially Vanderbilt. If we play defense like we did against Vanderbilt then we could lose to anyone in the field, but that's an outlier defensive performance for us.
By torvik we have the nation's tenth ranked defense, and yet some folks want to act like we just stand around watching shooters shoot.
Our offense is the much bigger concern in this tournament. Can we score enough that we don't have to be absolutely incredible on defense every game is the question.

Hepburn has started crowding a lot closer, surprised everyone else hasn't. Louisville has to do something to break up this game flow.
