It wasn't the show runners. It was the people who were running the convention. They wanted him to just sign autographs and move the line along. He was interacting with the fans more than they wanted him to, which just makes him more cool, to me.CFTXAG10 said:

I meant the comic-con show runners, my bad. That makes sense. He actually cares about his fans, and they want to move as many bodies through the line as possible.Rex Racer said:It wasn't the show runners. It was the people who were running the convention. LFCC 2022- THREAD.

1) Went to lfcc yesterday, my first ever con and was amazed at the wonderful demeanour Joseph Quinn managed to maintain throughout the day despite the horrendous treatment he recieved by showmasters at what should have been his exciting first con experience.
3) YELLING at Joe AND his fans for taking too much time or a quick hug. Showmasters your staff has no right to get mad at Joe when you were the ones overbooking him to the point of exhaustion and not compensating time wise, causing him to be 1.5hrs behind schedule.

I know I'm the only one but I'm kind of bummed/annoyed they got a British dude to play the quintessential 80s American metal head.
He absolutely nailed it and I know a ton of British actors do really good American accents but his was a cut above. I was floored when I found out he was British.Bruce Almighty said:Sea Speed said:

IMO, that British dude did a better job at playing an 80s American teenager than the actual American actors.

Thank you.
Also, I know they're dealing with scary stuff but every kid character except the bball player's sister and Steve were constantly on the verge of a max-level sh**-fit. Watch the two scenes of them looking for music to play...pure unintentional comedy gold. Anyway, Argyle somehow eclipsed these freakouts. You can't act like that and then immediately go back to "my dude" mode. He was my least favorite.

You are mistaken, that was the sword of Godric Gryffendor, last used by Neville Longbottom to kill NaginiApache said:
I noticed the sword Hopper used to kill the Demigorgon was an exact replica of Conan the Barbarian's. Not sure it had been mentioned.

A sleuth-y fan on Twitter and HITC figured it out, noting that we actually see Enzo open a weapons locker in episode 7, which, yep: includes the sword. And turns out said sword is a very cool Easter egg, in that it's quite literally the Atlantean from the Conan movies starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.
And yes, it's the actual sword from Conannot a replica. David Harbour confirmed this himself in an interview with British GQ, saying, "I don't know if you saw this, but that sword I pick upit's the actual prop sword they used in Conan the Barbarian. It's the sword that Schwarzenegger swings in the movie."
I was thinking more Lea Thompson in Red Dawn when I saw the beret:Quote:
Haven't seen it here, but I liked the Lost Boys tribute when they got to the attic. Complete with one of them wearing a beret.

One thing I haven't heard mentioned: How unceremoniously and quickly Jason was killed when the earth split open.
I really enjoyed that.
Yep. My wife and I noticed that right away. My least favorite new character. Doesn't seem like "an 80's guy" at all.aggiepaintrain said:

Dustin is dressed like C. Thomas Howell and Patrick Swayze in Red Dawn
