Finished season 4 last night. Thought the acting by Dustin and Lucas during their respective grieving scenes was insanely good. Argyle drove me nuts. At first it was fine, but then towards the end I felt like I was watching Michael Scott during the whole "Smoking doobies. Smoking doobies with my brothers" scene." Just playing on the stoner trope way too hard. Nancy and Steve were great. El's reunion with hopper was fantastic. Going to miss Eddie. Hope he makes some cameos in season 5.

Overall I'd rank this as my second favorite season behind season one.

I still liked argyle more than Mike. I haven't really liked Mike since season 1.

Mike is morphing into an emu. Just as scary as any of the Vecna murders.

Yeah, but the scene comparison in both is the 3 teens going into the monster's lair to kill him while he is vulnerable, and of course it doesn't go as planned. Stranger Things scene was very similar to the cave scene in Lost Boys.

C. Thomas Howell does wear a sweat band around his head in some scenes in Red Dawn which Corey Feldman wears as a Frog brother. So maybe the line of influence is Red Dawn -> Lost Boys -> Stranger Things

Saw this online and thought it was very fitting for this thread.

That was... wow. Not at all what I was expecting.

She's talented as hell, it's a great song, and an incredibly unique/well-shot video. I really like her as an actress and an artist.

I have to say, though, I noticed her brother's name in the credits. I don't care how "artsy" you are, appearing like... that... in something your brother will not only absolutely see, but is IN, is objectively weird as hell.

Over a million views in 24 hours doesn't hurt either.

I didn't feel like getting banned today.
