I had no idea they are leaving 2 episodes for July 1st.


Definitely had a WTF moment when the last episode ended

We're through two episodes and a little under whelmed so far. My problem is that the kids were great when they were kids but not so great as teens. Just so awkward. Steve and Robin are awesome together, what a great pairing, but they were always older. We're old so we just want more Winona and Hopper. Like seriously, what a great pairing as well and Winona was my early 90's teenage crush.

Love Lucas's story as a kid actually trying to fit in to real high school. Seen this with both our sons who play high school athletics.

To recap, the kids were great until they were not. Want to get back to the grown ups. Russia expert guy is also a bright spot and would like to see more Modine and Reiser, again, cause I am old and *****

I mentioned the same thing to some friends of mine. It's definitely noticeable that Mike's, and to a lesser extent Will's, storyline has been placed on the back burner. Both the actors for these roles seem pretty solid so I'm assuming that the writers just want other roles to get more time on screen.

Also, (and this is nothing more than rumor) one of the friends I was talking to about this stated she had read that the actor playing Mike wants to move on from the series and asked for less screen time. No clue if this is true but it could explain things.

By the way, don't check IMDB. Definitely got spoiled on something I wish I hadn't seen

Same here, I made the mistake of looking at the cast credits on Wikipedia before Episode 7.

I just finished episode 1 and know almost nothing about what's in store. Thought they did a good job, though hurried, of setting up all the main characters. Also thought the two new characters are pretty good and well cast.

One thing I appreciated about the first three seasons was that it was set in the 80s without making fun of the 80s. So far, I feel this has changed with over-the-top styles and especially the encyclopedia comment, (paraphrasing) "Imagine getting answers to all your questions without leaving the house!"

Still excited to see what happens next.

Yep, why I go to episodes so I can just check cast of that specific one.

He was the hero of season 1 as the head of a clandestine governmental program pushing boundaries and exploring the unknown involving difficult preteen/teens. He was vexed by a troublemaker and her meddling friends - but maybe the producers tried to make him more nuanced this season such that you don't automatically empathize with him.

I don't know what any of that means, I just want to know if Brenner is the bad guy or the government trying to find 11 are the bad guys, or both.

I went to the actor's page and the first image in the gallery gave it away. Looks like it's been removed though

I kinda want to see Robin and Steve end up together. I know that will never happen but they got some great chemistry.

That honestly wouldn't surprise me at all. Nancy is either going to end up with Robin or Steve. Looks like Nancy and Jonathan are over unless something crazy happens in thee next volume.

Honestly who knows at this point.

Anybody with a juicy prediction for the last two episodes?

My Prediction:

I'm thinking Nancy and Mike both sacrifice themselves. Nancy because it will be a situation where someone has to sacrifice themselves and it'll be an Armageddon moment where she takes Steve's place and Mike because it'll be his "love you too bro" moment to Will after Will comes out to him.

So the next release is just two episodes? Did they say why it was done this way?

Dont' know but the episodes are movie length I think.

One was like an hour and a half and the second one was 2 and a half hours long
