I guess the Judge could make him surrender his passport so he doesn't leave the country.

He can still be and will be detained by ice as an immigration hold so it's a moot point

I think it's also a mute point.

As in, "Hey Judge...STFU!"

Yeah...because all those folks pouring over the border used their passports to get in.

I'm sure he couldn't leave without a passport, either...

So there was a hearing yesterday about DOJ not wanting Garcia being released on bail for the federal trafficking charges since the magistrate judge wants to release him until trial(I believe). But he will be immediately detained by immigration after released on bail. So he is not going to just be released on the streets.

Anyway in the hearing yesterday the Judge essentially was advocating for Garcia by telling him that when he is released on bail immigration could almost immediately deport him to a third country because of the SCOTUS ruling last week.

So now Garcia is like... wait a minute... we would like to stay in jail now since if we don't he will just be deported.

Not exactly an uncommon occurrence. Had a case a couple years ago where high-wealth debtor/Ponzi operator was in U.S. marshal custody for contempt. He made a deal to purge his contempt. At the hearing when the judge entered the order re contempt, the marshals unruffled the guy and then the fbi immediately re-cuffed him because he was indicted for the Ponzi scheme. lol.

And if he comes back, can just charge him again. But statute of limitations is 5 years.

I think they want the press of his trial etc. They have someone lined up to testify against him that he was making 100-150K a year the whole time here trafficking people.

Not that democrats can be shamed, but putting all of the evil/vile acts this guy has engaged in on blast in the media for 6+ months could lead some sheeple to question the narratives espoused by Democrats.

Seems that in lib world they see a future for Kilmar to return to his Maryland family and quietly work at his union job and face no consequences for entering the Country illegally, human trafficking, sex trafficking of minors, domestic abuse, almost certainly drugs, and being in an internationally recognized violent, now US designated foreign terrorists gang.

As has been the case with this hotard all along, he is a bad hombre who should be rotting away in El Salvador.

Believe he gets the Con Air treatment given his status and security issues. Don't think they have a FF program.

For a group of people that braggingly (I know, no such word) support child mutilation and thousands of rapes in the last four years, there's not much they can be shamed about, like you said.

There's quite a bit more, such as thousands of small businesses looted, burned, and possibly put out of business in the last four years. At the very least, these businesses' insurance have likely doubled or tripled.

My guess is a lot of tax payer money paid for all of these riots in the last 11 years, certainly USAID, EFD (Endowment for Democracy) plenty of Soros (I guess we should call them SGOs, Soros Government Operations), and others I can't remember but have read about.

So no, not only can they not be shamed, but willingly and vocally support all of these endeavours. Great bunch of guys.

And y'all are probably correct, just the pre-trial discovery will be quite enlightening.
Hate is how progressives sustain themselves. Without hate, introspection begins to slip into the progressive's consciousness, threatening the progressive with the truth: that their ideas and opinions are illogical, hypocritical, dangerous, and asinine.
This is backed by data.

It would be hilarious is they can somehow show he made that money in undeclared income and let the IRS chime in.

Star witness has been arrested and imprisoned every year for the past 10 years and was set to be deported for his sixth time. He gets released and can stay in the country for at least a year. Sweet deal for him. Not sure how credible the jury will find him though.

So, we're letting a convicted criminal go free in order to prosecute KAG, when we could just deport KAG and keep this guy in prison? What are we doing here?

We have to be the dumbest country in the entire world.

Not only do we borrow money and pay interest on the money we borrow to give to other countries, but we are apparently now importing criminals to spend even more money on trials, incarceration, etc. when we could have just left the POS in whatever Ecuadorian prison he was in and washed our hands of the ordeal entirely.

What a fuggin joke. This guy is racking up millions of taxpayer dollars when he isn't worth 3 cents a pound on the hoof.

Liberals wanted him back so he's back and after the trial, we can deport the witness

Sounds like the witness will give us another opportunity to arrest him in the future and deport again based on his history

First, I would put the brakes on anything sourced singly through the WaPo - based on their "review of documents".

And it seems the only distinction is the pause in deporting him so he can cooperate in the prosecution of a violent, degenerate human-trafficker.

Making this out like the guy has been given a full pardon, full immunity and citizenship is a bit overdone. I imagine when KAG is deported later next month this guy will be along for the ride.

Seems pretty short-sighted. If KAG is acquitted, they'll have released this guy for nothing. Why not keep him locked up until they secure a conviction?

The DoJ is prioritizing going after KAG at this point, and he has zero chance of winning against the machine that is DoJ prosecution. See: J6 gulag inmates when this was the priority.

I mean how much longer are they going to advocate for these illegal criminals? I'm beginning to wonder if I'm just delusional, as I live in Texas like most everyone here, but are there that many lunatics in our country that support this? I can't tell you the last time I've been to Cali or the Northeast, but it seems like continuing to do this & grandstand for these illegals is going to start to turn off their voters. Am I just naive in underestimating the amount of people who support this and/or are brainwashed by CNN?

There is a radical version of the left that the base doesn't know how to manage.

The left's moderate base is spineless, they let radical gender extremists run wild, ****ing themselves into oblivion while pretending it's "progress."
