Libertarian scorecard giving libertarian a high grade? No way!!!
Because libertarian views heavily overlap with conservative ones.flown-the-coop said:
Yea, thanks for proving my point. Did you read what you posted? Particularly the last bullet point?!
As has already been covered, if Thommie and Randie want to be libertarians, they should switch parties and be honest about who they are.
When they take R dollars and leverage the party machine by pretending to be R then serve as an L, that's a problem
Where does it say it's being defined by Libertarians or has your definition of conservative principles changed because of how the current administration is moving?flown-the-coop said:
Conservative principles as defined by libertarians.
Thats the issue.

What are your "conservative principles" (aside from licking Trump's boots)? Step up.

What is your source for your Trump infatuation? Do you believe Trump is infallible and incapable of fault?
Honestly I wasn't worried about him much until I saw how much Trump was going after a republican, and started to do my own research.TAMUallen said:

This thread is about Massie. Stop derailing.

And it especially went up a notch after seeing how much energy and resources they are putting into a single Kentucky congressional district race to unseat another republican. Especially since Massie is standing on the same principles and beliefs that the people of his district voting him in for.
Why would I want a win for all the foreign lobby groups who are reportedly pumping up to 20 million to unseat him? Why is this so important to them? America first over everything, and if that offends you, you don't have America's best interest at heart and nothing else.
And now I ask the same question. Why are they fighting so hard to get rid of them if they're not a Kentuckian??

Are there things Gallrein has said that show he's a worse candidate or is it that he's being supported to remove an incumbent who happens to be endorsed by liberals, code pink, al Jazeera, etc?

Can't do it. Won't do it. Not surprised. If you have a link to your version of "conservative principles" I'd be happy to take a look at it (assuming it is not, as I suspect, Trump's Truth Social feed). But I am certainly not expecting much from you.
You shouldn't be calling anyone else's posts "dumb" either.

No, calling posters dumb is an issue. Calling a post dumb, particularly one that attempts to troll with "step up" dumbarsey is well within bounds.

The only reason you see liberals etc supporting Massie is because Trump went after him hard. That's just their TDS at work, that's white noise and doesn't matter. Because they don't agree with Massies political beliefs at all they just see another Trump enemy to get behind.
And folks like you fall for the clickbait emotional straw man arguments that he's endorsed by groups like that.

Give me a break lol
Kentucky voters need to wake up. Thomas Massie has voted AGAINST Republicans 73 TIMES siding with Democrats 22.3% of the time.
— Trumps Nephew (@ForgiatoBlow47) May 16, 2026
That’s nearly 1 out of every 4 votes spent undermining the Republican agenda from inside the party.
Republicans are sick of weak Republicans.

He has voted against a majority of Republicans on 73 occasions or 22.3% of the time in the 119th Congress and was just one of two Republicans to oppose the final passage of Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill Act.
