As a Republican Party member who takes their assistance and money, he shows he is incapable of supporting the party over himself if he feels he can drive clicks and donations by siding with the Dems.

This has been discussed AT LENGTH. You seem to have missed it more are trying to derail with some bizarre "gotchya".

Will be great to see a better representative for the people of eastern Kentucky and for the R agenda being led by Trump.

You think the KENTUCKY candidate who's gotten around 14 million from foreign lobbies compared to the guy who has received 0 is a better representative for the people of Kentucky??

I will concede that those from rural eastern districts tend to be low information voters on average.

That work for you?

My views on Massie have been consistent and completely clear.

By govtrack.us Massie Ranked the 15th most politically left compared to House Republicans

Yea, thanks for proving my point. Did you read what you posted? Particularly the last bullet point?!

As has already been covered, if Thommie and Randie want to be libertarians, they should switch parties and be honest about who they are.

When they take R dollars and leverage the party machine by pretending to be R then serve as an L, that's a problem

Unless you want to make the argument that libertarian = conservative, which is not a serious argument

Because libertarian views heavily overlap with conservative ones.

cutting spending, opposing government regulations, and defending strict constitutional rights. Which one of these do conservatives not support?

And yes completely ignore the first sentence. "The Liberty Score from Conservative Review measures how closely a politician's votes align with conservative principles"

Where does it say it's being defined by Libertarians or has your definition of conservative principles changed because of how the current administration is moving?

Honestly I wasn't worried about him much until I saw how much Trump was going after a republican, and started to do my own research.

And it especially went up a notch after seeing how much energy and resources they are putting into a single Kentucky congressional district race to unseat another republican. Especially since Massie is standing on the same principles and beliefs that the people of his district voting him in for.

Why would I want a win for all the foreign lobby groups who are reportedly pumping up to 20 million to unseat him? Why is this so important to them? America first over everything, and if that offends you, you don't have America's best interest at heart and nothing else.

And now I ask the same question. Why are they fighting so hard to get rid of them if they're not a Kentuckian??

Can't do it. Won't do it. Not surprised. If you have a link to your version of "conservative principles" I'd be happy to take a look at it (assuming it is not, as I suspect, Trump's Truth Social feed). But I am certainly not expecting much from you.

Are there things Gallrein has said that show he's a worse candidate or is it that he's being supported to remove an incumbent who happens to be endorsed by liberals, code pink, al Jazeera, etc?

When he hides in his basement and avoids debating during campaigns (can you say "Joe Biden 2020"?), it's kind of difficult to know his positions. What does he stand for that you support and Massie disagrees with?

That's your response to that, nothing of substance? lol okay.

The only reason you see liberals etc supporting Massie is because Trump went after him hard. That's just their TDS at work, that's white noise and doesn't matter. Because they don't agree with Massies political beliefs at all they just see another Trump enemy to get behind.

And folks like you fall for the clickbait emotional straw man arguments that he's endorsed by groups like that.

Oh dang, facts. Theyre tough. In the house he has been the number one Republican to vote against Republicans.

Quote:

He has voted against a majority of Republicans on 73 occasions or 22.3% of the time in the 119th Congress and was just one of two Republicans to oppose the final passage of Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill Act.

Opposing the republican majority doesn't mean he "sided with the democrats". They often vote no for different reasoning.
