Peter Schrager did a 1st round mock supposedly based on intel and has the Cowboys drafting Tyler Booker.
If that's the case, I hope they can move down and get an extra pick. Wouldn't hate the pick though.shack009 said:

There are definitely guys out there that REALLY like Booker. It could definitely be a Zack Martin sorta deal where we get to #12 and Booker is by far the highest rated player on their board.

If I had to put a paycheck on a position we take in the first, it would be WR. I feel pretty comfortable in that.

I would prefer Henderson and Johnson as well. Hampton seems like a guy who will have 2/3 really good years and then he'll disappear. Just my opinion.

First four are set in stone. The order may change. Jacksonville at 5 is kind of a mystery. I've seen them with Jeanty, McMillan, Warren, etc. Then there's the Raiders. If Jeanty is gone, then what? Personally, I think McMillan will be there at 12 and we'll take him.jr15aggie said:
I'm thinking it's 50/50 on McMillan being there at 12. We know of 5 guys that are practically top 10 locks (Ward, Hunter, Jeanty, Carter, Graham). After that, I think teams are starting to fall in love with 2-3 O-line guys, the 2 TE's (Warren and Loveland) and I think Jalon Walker (LB/EDGE) goes early as well. Possibly throw in a CB or D-line guy and there is room for guys to slide.
I think a lot of teams don't know if any of these WRs are true #1 guys so we could be sitting there at #12 with all of them still on the board.
I just wonder if Dallas doesn't like Golden better!? Jerry/Stephen (and perhaps McClay too) are stubborn sons of guns... they already spent our 4th rounder on a big bodied WR and they are going to give him a chance next year. I wonder if Golden isn't our #1 WR target straight up.
I still say Egbuka would be a great pick but I don't get the impression he's above the other 2. I'd love a trade down where we "settle" for Egbuka!
Yeah, I'd rather trade back if we can as well if he's not there.Vince Blake said:
Would love Kaleb Johnson. He gets a lot of DeMarco Murray comps. I like Damien Martinez out of Miami too. Both similar big body dudes. I am hoping we can scoop Kaleb Johnson in the third. I think there is going to be some nice defensive talent on the board in the 2nd. Maybe Revel the CB or Carson Schwesinger LB out of UCLA who they reportedly really like. I even saw a mock this morning, maybe Daniel Jeremiah's, that had Will Johnson falling out of the first.
I don't think McMillan makes it to 12. If he's not there I am hoping for the trade back. If we come out of tonight with Egbuka or Golden plus and extra Day 2 pick, I am happy.

give me mcmillan or jeanty (I'm indifferent there)....that would be amazingTyHolden said:

Hypothetical, if Jacksonville does select Jeanty like many are thinking, the thought is Travis Etienne immediately goes on the trade block. Would you take him if you could get him for say a 5th?

Jeanty no doubt. They don't have a starting RB on the roster. I'd love it if Dallas to avoid Golden.
Getting an RB in the first 2 rounds I believe is crucial unless they plan to get one in back to back rounds. There are several bigger speed backs in this draft and once they are gone, they gone. There will be plenty of top end corners after the 4th. This draft has so many good RBs it's crazy but Dallas has so many needs at RB (need a power back and a speed back) along with OL, DT, and corner and a real #2 WR.
