Went to the game and it was almost like an all star game. Absolutely no defense. Good win for the Rockets though. Harden and Parsons went off!

I dont think Atl is trading Josh Smith. They are primed to keep him and add stars around him. They sure aren't doing it for a bunch of ****ty castoff that aren't making the Rockets rotation.

Cool. So a 12&5 player on a bad team and some junk picks for an all-star. I'm sure Atlanta is dying to pull the trigger.
The Rockets could just sign him in free agency over the offseason as a free agent if he was so ready to leave Atlanta.

OK yeah. So we trade for him, he plays half a season with Harden and then walks and we are out Patterson and a few picks. That's way better.
I know it sounds bad, but what other choice do you have? There's between 15-20 star players in the league, and almost all of them are locked up on their current teams. We need to take the risk on him walking like we were going to with Dwight. Unless youre fine with 10th and 9th in the West with the occasional 8 seed for years until Harden gets sick of it

They didn't want to come here because our best player was Kevin freaking Martin. What superstar is going to listen to that sales pitch? But now with Harden, it's much easier to convince a star player to come and lead the team with Harden as a very capable #2.
Making a trade just for the hell of it is not the way to go. We are positioned much better to make a run at some FAs next offseason with Harden in the mix. Lets just see how it plays out instead of making moves just to make moves

Finally Lin played pretty well. Maybe the team is starting to gel and get some confidence. And what is up with Chandler Parsons? Dude is averaging 16 and 7! Really liking Asik too. Great to have a real big and he will be a pretty solid player if he can develop some more offense.

I don't think we are contenders if the above reply is aimed at my comment. But this team has shown strides over the last 3 games. I was relaying my optimism in some of our pieces to the puzzle. However, I do feel we need another all-star and to improve the bench before we are contenders.
