Still possible to grab the 6th seed with this remaining schedule if they buckle down and take care of business.
If we get the 6th seed, do I have it correct that we would play the winner of the 4-5 matchup between the grizzlies and clippers in the off chance that we beat the 3 seed? That would make for one hell of a 2nd round matchup.
Good to get a blowout and rest some guys...tomorrow night's game is big for seeding. Win that one and we're no worse than 7. Throw in a GS loss to the Spurs and that would clinch 6th.
Landed on a foot and hurt his ankle. He's listed as day to day. Missing the next road trip and getting an MRI. Lawson looks to be getting healthy just in time for the playoffs.
With two cupcake games to go for both Denver and LAC it is looking more and more like a Nuggets-Rockets first round matchup. I think Denver has the tiebreaker over LAC (2-1).
It also looks like OKC has the 1-seed locked up. Which begs the question who would you rather play round 1? Spurs or Nuggets? Tough call and I think you can make a lot of arguments both ways. I'd personally rather play the Spurs.
I'd much rather play the Spurs than the Nuggets. They haven't looked all that great lately, and now that they've waived Jackson I think they are vulnerable against an explosive team like us.
Then again, if Faried is out for an extended period of time, then the Nuggets are also much weaker as well. But I'd still prefer SA
Scola and Dragic wreaking havoc on their former team...Scola with 21, Dragic with 12 and 13 assists. Describing our defense so far as "porous" would be kind.
