hold on. lets not assume DC wasn't trying to provoke, because he probably was.

but assuming the Rockets are getting Howard and Chris Paul? that's pretty much laughable.

Even the "conspiracy theorist, stacked for years Lakers" couldnt pull that one off.

It's not likely, but it's possible. The Rockets have the cap space and the assets to pull off such a deal, if both parties were interested. I'm not sure that they are, but they have to be intrigued by the concept of Paul, Harden, and Howard playing together -- if the goal is to win championships against the Heat.

I said Lin, Asik, Jones, but honestly -- would you mind giving up Parsons, Beverley, ANYBODY if it meant getting those two? I surely wouldn't.

Howard said he didn't want to play in Houston before we got Harden.

I really don't see why it's so laughable if we have the $ and pieces. It depends greatly on Howard wanting to get out of LA but that's not far fetched.


The tone of posts from DC and even you aren't just logical disagreements, they are more of the "ha your team sucks, your city sucks, no one wants to play for you and your crappy city."

I can see Howard going to Houston depending on how he feels about leaving LA after 1 season of moderate success. Houston is a playoff team and is missing at least 1 star to help Harden.

For Chris Paul, I don't see it. He's playing his kind of basketball with Lob City which is also a playoff team.

Yeah, the young and playoff-inexperienced card applies for this season, but this season only. I'll be there hoping the season gets extended. Hopefully they're learning some lessons on why you give consistent effort every game during the season and how to close out games.

They've been "young" for 4 years. That shouldn't be possible in college football. We were at an average age of about 28-30 and now it's 23. Completely different circumstances
