Frustrating game...kept getting within 5-7 points, but never any closer. Indiana is tough against 3-point shooting and they were again tonight. I'm not real surprised at the outcome, but those games against Sacramento and Phoenix (4 total) need to be all Ws...can't keep flushing those games down the toilet.

Great win without Harden...Clippers are talented but man, they are flaky. Provided the Rockets get in the playoffs, that's their best matchup...don't think it'll happen, but one can hope.

5-4 is not an unreasonable expectation to finish, which would likely put us 7th. 6-3 and some stumbling from GS might be good enough to get up to 6th.
Denver and Memphis are rough matchups. Who knows if the Laker game will mean anything to LA...if it does, that'll be a challenge.
The rest are set up to be wins, but given this team's history, I expect a loss or two among them. Hopefully they'll prove me wrong. Portland is circling the drain, Orlando, Sacto and Phoenix are playing out the string...the Kings still act like they care, at least. Phoenix and Orlando, not so much.

This might be optimistic, but I see 6-3 with a shot at 7-2 there. Hollinger odds predicts us going 6-3, but still settling in at the 7 seed to play OKC first round :/
We'd probably be a 3 or 4 seed in the East.
I could see 7-2, but I think that is too optimistic for this inconsistent Rockets team. I'd say 6-3 is most realistic, but 5-4 wouldn't shock me. But it'd be nice to finish the season on a hot streak to get some momentum heading into the playoffs

You could look at it this way. We have 6 games against Sacramento (2), Phoenix (2), Orlando, and Portland, which you would expect to win all, but we'll assume they lose 1 from a cold shooting night.
Then we have 3 games against Denver, Memphis, and LA, where we could go 2-1 or 1-2, in my opinion. At Denver is the hardest game and playing Memphis anywhere doesn't inspire me, but the team has shown that it also has the ability to play out of its mind and beat teams like San Antonio and OKC in recent days, so I don't think 2-1 is a stretch for this 3 games.
