guys on 790am this morning were discussing trying to trade for lamarcus aldrige during the offseason...... that it wouldn't hurt too bad to give up asik and a few spares for aldrige because you would have a 1-2 all-star combo now when paired up with beardy.... they even went as far as to call the rockets "ok city south" cause that combo would be as good as durant/westbrook according to them
I like the idea of getting Pao or Howard better.
Man our first round matchups keeps looking better and better. Ginobili possibly out and now maybe Parker has a stress fracture? Lawson out and now probably Gallinari? Could we be favored to win a first round series, due to injuries to our competition?
Don't think we will win a series but this team is so fun to watch. The future is bright with harden, and the future talent we can bring in

Asik for Aldridge and we don't really have a true center. I'd still like to just sign Dwight. At least with Dwight, I will be able to watch the rockets every Sunday on abc

These Portland fans are very restless. Every time harden is around the ball on either side and something happens the entire stadium erupts in boos. It's almost like they coordinated it

I like the energy Beverly (?) brings to back-up Lin. Does he protect the ball and play more D though? I guess Brooks doesn't have much of a role on this squad. I never get to watch the Rox cause of the Comcast deal.
I don't have comcast either, but I watch on Internet every game. Beverley is crazy active. He's more active on the offensive boards than Lowry was. He doesn't have a great shot yet, but he's very athletic and a pretty good defender. I've missed Brooks playing at all. Probably an issue with his performance and mindset in practice, but I have no idea

Im lovin the minutes Beverly is giving. Comcast and the other networks need to figure something out. I doubt anything gets worked out considering I saw a Comcast commercial that claimed the other networks "ignored" 80k petitions (a lot more people than that in the H-town area)...This is a fun team to watch, especially when Harden is in.
As good as Asik is at remaining balanced, positioning, etc, he still can't overcome his lack of quickness or vertical against better post players like Aldridge.
