But why isn't Robinson playing? All the possible explanations seem silly. It could be because he sucks, but I doubt that. Maybe he's so dumb that he can't even make a coordinated move without practice, but that seems highly unlikely as well.
But I think the real reason is that McHale wanted to continue his small ball gimmick and because he values team chemistry stupidly much. Its basketball, not the MCAT. He can get 10 minutes and help rebound, which is something they desperately needed tonight.

The players we sent to Sacramento haven't passed physicals yet, so they can't play. Trust me T-Rob would've started and played 30+ minutes if he had been cleared to play. On Wednesday he should be in the starting lineup. It's definitely hurting us that sacramento isn't rushing their physicals, but what can you do.

Loss at Minnesota
Loss at Philadelphia
Especially with the minutes these guys are having to play because of the shortened bench and the guys playing out of position... if you're surprised we blew a 17 point 1st half lead down the stretch, you're just not paying attention.

We can't lose to the crappy Wizards when the Lakers are starting to heat up.
I will trade 2 wins against OKC and Brooklyn for a loss to Washington all day long. Again, those games are very tough to win regardless of the opponent.
You guys have an easy schedule down the stretch. If anybody tanks in March/April it will be Utah.
I finally agree with something this guy said.
Losing to the Warriors sucked but it is going to happen every now and then. We have a pretty easy stretch coming up. Should go at least 8-3 over the next 11 games. Can't afford to build these large leads and then just go cold out of nowhere.
