Why do we struggle with this crappy team
Overplayed the 2nd unit there after we got it to 2 and just like that it is an 8 point game again.
Back to the 7th seed
Spurs or OKC for you guys now. Obviously you'd rather face SA with all their problems right now but you have to win @LAL on Wednesday for that to happen.
Horrible loss. Turnovers, poor defense, and missed free throws. I understand Asik not matching up well against phoenix, but 14 mins? Greg smith getting in foul trouble and only playing 14 mins hurt as well. Harden was definitely off in the 2nd half.
Actually I'm wrong about that. If you guys beat LA and GS loses @POR than I think you guys get back to 6.

Gotta beat LA on Wednesday with that conference record coming back to bite us in the a**. It is amazing how this team farts away games against sh** opponents

Do I want to play a team who is unbeatable at home or do I want to play an aging and stumbling team right now? I'm not expecting much out of my team this season in the playoffs but I am much more confident in a competitive series with the Alzheimer's Team than I am the nuggets
I'm the biggest James Harden fanboy out there, but that was absolutely pathetic. This loss is COMPLETELY his fault and his fault alone. I hope he goes back to his hotel room and cries after that one.

I don't necessarily fault you for thinking this way but just letting you know you'd be better off against a Denver team with no Gallinari, a banged up Lawson and a questionable for the first round Faried.
The Spurs and Pop will execute Houston to death once they get them into slow down playoff basketball. As far as "alzheimer's" goes, I'm assuming you're talking about Manu? because you can't be talking about Tim Duncan who has easily been the best big man in the entire NBA this season. As for Manu, the Spurs don't need him at his best to win this series.
The Spurs are awesome at home too. Denver is much worse than San Antonio on the road. I'd much rather play Denver.

I think we should have rested Harden. With his balls-to-the-wall style of play, we need him as fresh as can be for the playoffs to have a chance.
I think resting him tomorrow might be a better option than playing him and hoping he gets into a groove for the playoffs

If you rest Harden on Wednesday and take the loss, you match up with OKC as the #8 seed.

Just hope that Memphis beats Utah before your matchup with LA. If Utah some how wins that game the league will do everything possible to get LA into the playoffs and you will see those questionable calls all game which will regulate you guys to the 8. If Memphis wins then LA is in the playoffs regardless of what happens.

to clarify what I was trying to say, I thought we should have rested Harden Sunday and Monday to give him and his ankle rest, then have him start against the Lakers to finish out the season

I'm not gonna say the league isn't interested in fixing tonights matchup so that the Lakers win....but if that were the case they oughta just make sure the Jazz lose so people stop whining about the Lakers getting all the calls late in the season

I'll admit saying he will be "taking the night off" might be a little bit of a stretch....but lets be honest, he will be watching the outcome of the Jazz-Grizzlies, and I find it difficult to believe that he will play as hard if the Jazz are eliminated. I guess we will see. If he goes off tonight after a Grizzlies win I will have to eat some crow.
