So I was checking out videos of the Spurs 4 Championships & celebrations (easy to find on youtube)... so awesome. It would be really something to see it happen again with our aging Trio ascending the mountain, perhaps for the last time. And guys like Kawhi, Green, Diaw, Splitter, etc. getting their first ring!!! I wonder if Kawhi will give a crap?! Everyone's spraying champagne and Kawhi's trying to find Pop to see where/when they are watching the game film.

If only somebody would invent something so we could watch multiple channels at the same time. Or better yet... we could record something on one channel while watching another. That would be awesome!

The 3 days off is good for the big 3. No such thing as too much rest for them.

Oh and btw, no Game of Thrones this Sunday brah. Guess you're forced into watching Tim Duncan play. Keep taking it for granted dewsh.

Comparing two starting guards:

Danny Green is 11-of-15 from three in the first two games of this series. Thabo Sefolosha is 11-of-47 from three since the All-Star break.

Thabo is pretty worthless on the offensive end and he's not even defending very well. He can't stay in front of Parker and loses Green along the 3 point line.

Bwahahahaha... you can't make that stuff up!!!

Seriously though, just goes to show you how dependent OKC is on their big 3. They lost one guy and the Spurs are beating them like a red headed step child.

And what's with the people posting how they think we are gonna lose on Sunday... about how they hope we can win at least win one in OKC. Seriously!? Not saying it can't happen, but to think that it will is crazy. The Spurs have completely dismantled this team and little reason to think they won't do the same just because the crowd cheers for the other team. The Spurs had almost identical home/away record. Timmy don't give a crap, Tony don't give a crap, and you know Kawhi don't give a crap!!! They are gonna beat them with a rubber hose regardless! (slight movie reference there, I give blue star if you can name which one).

A great NBA commercial would be a several shots of the parades and banners after the Spurs win a title (fingers crossed), then fade to Kawhi in a dark room watching film with the lights from the party outside shining through the window onto the side of his face.

I don't know jr, Durant and Westbrook have yet to get hot in this series. They're due at least one game where they cant miss from three. Game 3 is as good as any for it to happen. The stuff I've seen from Brooks since Game 2 is that he has completely lost composure. That will only feed back to this team. There is a HUGE mental barrier for the Thunder to climb at this point, and each player will have to do it on their own. If the Thunder go off in one game and the Spurs lay an egg in one game (which we're due to), I'd expect both of those to happen in Game 3.

But seriously, I love that part! Wife & I watch every year. That cop is dead serious when he says it... if I had a rubber hose, I would beat you.... ROFL!!!

It reminds me of Office Space when he asks Lawrence what he would do with a million dollars. The dude gets dead friggin serious, "I tell you what I'd do man... two chicks at the same time!"

"what would you do man?"

"you mean, besides two chicks at the same time?"

*obvious shrug/look* "well yeah!?"

Never get's old.

The Spurs are limiting Durant to shooting mid range jumpers and allowing Westbrook to shoot 3's or try to play hero ball with drives. By doing so those 2 can score but they also miss a lot. They are making them work really hard as well, Durant especially has looked exhausted by the 3rd quarter as Pop throws another big on him in the paint and lets someone harass him on the perimeter.

I do think OKC will make a run and may even win a game back home. If they can get some role players to hit shots and the refs are calling a gazillion fouls everytime someone looks funny at Westrbook/Durant they can slow the pace and pull it out. The tough thing for them though is they will have a tough time running away from the Spurs because they can't stop them in the paint and the Spurs have multiple lineups that can take a 3 point game and make it a 15 point came in about 3 minutes.

Yep. Looks like Ibaka is coming back lmao.

It wouldn't be so funny if our team didn't see right through their bs.

If he doesn't play game 3 and the Spurs dominate them again, why even bother playing him. Not like they are going to win 4 straight with him less than 100% and rusty.

OKC's failed attempt at psychological warfare. It was an exaggerated injury from the beginning and our guys called it our right from the start.

Bush league attempt by OKC though.

The thought of at least one more game without Ibaka excites me, though.

No way Ibaka could play defense on a sprained calf. Dude would be DONE after the first quarter with a way worse injury.

If anything it will be a la Golden State and David Lee last year. A cameo to get the crowd roaring but no real help.

I'm sure the team doctors were telling Pop what they thought of his injury and the timeline for return, that's why Pop has been so vocal about Ibaka coming back this series.

The NBA wanted to give more time for Ibaka to heal because they hate the Spurs.

Fridays are probably worse than THURSDAYS for ratings. People go out on Friday. Major TV series are usually never on Friday. Just things like tgif. Sports always want Saturday and Sunday.

I'm actually excited that he's coming back. Not only will we still win, we'll beat them at full strength.
