Parker has five FTs in five games. In three games he has shot zero FTs but has scored the most points in the paint. That is the stat that tells the story.
At least Brooks is honest about it. The Thunder are a freethrow shooting team.
It's crazy. I've barely noticed KD since the 1st. Westbrook literally dominates the floor for them and I think to their disadvantage

I agree with the announcers. I think the huge, high intensity minutes OKC had to play in game 4 to stave off the bench are taking a toll here.
Even KD knows the Spurs are getting hosed by missing both FTs.
It's amazing how different of a team the thunder are without the refs bailing them out every possession

I think it's safe to say that home court advantage is a real thing in the NBA playoffs. The reffing between this game and the 2 in OKC is night and day.

He basically said we'd be back in San Antonio for Game 7 even though Game 6 hasn't been played yet. I don't disagree with him. OKC just gets all the calls at home and plays with a different level of intensity. We don't play well there either.

Regardless of home court, I am encouraged that the Spurs were able to get good looks in the paint with Ibaka playing. Assuming the Spurs win tonight it's probably still going 7, but at least I have some hope for game 7. Things were looking pretty bleak after game 4. San Antonio couldn't score.

So what's the stat on how many points were scored in the 3rd by OKC players not named Durant or Westbrook?
If we can force Durant and Westbrook to play another 36+ minutes again tonight, we might have a better shot in Game 6. They'll be dog tired from playing that many minutes in Games 4 and 5.
The three ball has been almost automatic too. To me that has been a huge factor. But damn if we haven't got everything else at the rim!

I don't think officiating has been bad tonight. The no-call on the Ginobili dunk attempts followed by the touch foul on the three was really bad, but otherwise I will be perfectly happy with officiating like this the rest of the way.

Pops adjustment of always having a stretch four has opened up the lane a bit but more so helped the spacing. It will be interesting to see if OKC adjusts.
