Fortunately for Paxton, all of the false preacher stuff from Talarico outshines Paxton's "poor Christian" criticisms.

Don't learn the wrong lesson from 2024. All the trans ads were effective not because people actually care much about that issue, but because it told them that the Dems spent their time on stuff they didn't care about.

Most voters don't care about the stuff that animates F16, and so it only really resonates if there is something else to hold it up. Most of the "Talarico is a weirdo, vegan, fake Christian" stuff isn't going to move the needle with swing voters. If people are really pissed at Trump the democrats have a chance in the race. If not, then not

Correct. 45% of Texas voters will vote R no matter what. 35% will vote D. The only issue is the middle 20% who aren't strongly aligned with conservatives or liberals. Republicans have a much easier time since they are closer to 50% support, but swing voters aren't happy right now. They don't care much about Paxton's corruption or Talarico's weirdness, but they do care about inflation, war, insider trading, taxpayer funded slush fund, and the Epstein coverup. I know F16 doesn't care about this, but swing voters do and that is giving Talarico a slight opening.

"Neighbors with a uterus" will impact swing voters. That isn't normal behavior.

Which are all bi-partisan realities if one is not a fickle, idiot swing voter, but I get your point because that's what makes a swing voter who they are. They live in the political moment and have zero ability to think strategically or beyond their next paycheck.

The problem is that since so many idiots pay no income tax they don't care about taxes and spending. We have allowed way too many moochers in this country while the top 10% are getting crushed.

yeah that's how socialism works. They will keep increasing the government-dependent base with free stuff, keep importing the third world with "paths to amnesty" for future government-dependent voters, keep fighting hard for ez fraud elections, keep lying and manipulating the low IQ and single issue voters about things like climate alarmism and crushing your fetus's skull = health care and deporting illegal aliens criminals = nazi Germany gassing the Jews- until we vote ourselves into socialism.

Exactly. They have incredibly short memories. For example:

  • Inflation - Due in large part to Biden's $1.9 Trillion "American Rescue Plan" in 2021, M2 rose to an extent that 7-8% annualized inflation occurred. Today's 3.8% inflation rate pales to those levels.
  • War - It is a legitimate debate whether the timing of Trump's action against Iran was the right thing to do at the time. However, Presidents of multiple administrations since the 70's have said that the Iran issue needed to be addressed, yet no one had done anything, save sending pallets of billions in cash to attempt to bribe the Iranians into playing nice. Now, the question remains: Do we finish the job? Or tuck tail and run, making the decades-old situation even worse?
  • Insider trading - By all means, vote Democrat because Paxton sold some investments that he didn't disclose he received compensation for... though I'm not sure how one could rationalize that's anywhere near the level of insider trading - and profits made - by Nancy Pelosi, et. al.
  • Taxpayer funded slush fund - Again, narrative over substance. $1.776 Billion (1776, get it?) as possible compensation for the worst affected by targeted, political, malicious prosecutions by the previous DOJ, over and against the up to $20 Billion (and counting) lost through fraudulent activites in Minnesota, California, and many other states.
  • Epstein coverup - Also a great narrative, if one ignores that all of the information being "covered up" was in the hands of the Biden DOJ. And for those who believe that the BIden DOJ whould choose to "protect Trump", I I really don't think a rational discussion can be had with these folks.

The best example of Democrat taxpayer funded slush fund is USAID. An entire governmental institution devoted to laundering money and promoting far left wing ideology. Anyone whining about Trump's legal fund to pay citizens who are wronged by the government needs to remember this historical fact.

It keeps getting better...

So now they're saying that Brianna Menard - apparently because her last name is Menard - is the direct descendant of Michel Menard, a signer of the Texas Delcaration of Independence and whom Menard County is named for.

Only problem is, that Michel Menard was married 4 times, and only had one son who made it to adulthood. (He did apparently adopt the children of his 4th wife). Per FamilySearch, the son, Michel Doswell Menard, only had one daughter that is recorded.

So if Brianna is a direct ancestor of Michel B. Menard, it is not readily findable through a normal genealogical search. So my guess is thatPolitiFact will ultimately have to rate this claim somewhere between "mostly false" and "Pants on Fire". (Yeah, right...)

You know they have a problem with their candidate when they project his issues onto Trump.

By the end of this campaign, we'll see Low T Tally wearing a cowboy hat, endorsing scriptural inerrancy, taking a dip of chewing tobakky and slapping his fake girlfriend in the ass.

They think it is so easy to trick the voting public in Red States that they fall all over themselves transitioning into a stereotype many voters easily see through.

Skankberger and Governor Blackface can easily fool Virginians. Doesn't work that way in Texas, Tennessee and Florida.

He's supposedly a pastor. That's normally an excuse to not have a girlfriend or wife. Only when people made fun of him for being obviously gay, did his girlfriend materialize. And she's just as bat **** crazy and liberal as he is.

My only concern is the millions of dollars that this dumbass will burn to lose by 10+ points, that undoubtedly is funneled through the taxpayer. The DNC is broke.

His name is James Dell Collins, by the way. Following the "Beto" game plan that never worked in the past.
