With the growth of RELLIS, I would say that's likely. There are also site plans for both the College station and Bryan portions of 47 for a few new apartments. Retail follows rooftops.

I think it is another Aurora one. They revamped the previously existing one at 6 and Harvey by Lock N Roll, put one out at 21 and 2818, and I believe are doing this one here, too

Well in the "going" category, I saw all of the big oak trees being pushed over at Highway 6 and Briarcrest. Every single one. I'm sure they are doing the same on university. I remember when all of those were planted.
That hurts my very soul. One of the few attractive areas to passersby, and no one could find a way to save them. We grow uglier by the year. I'm sure they'll plant some tiny trees and wait 30 years for them to look good.

The Tap has been dead lately. I was told this generation isn't into drinking and is more into fitness & healthy lifestyle. This goes along with TikTok, as everyone manages themselves as if they're their own personal brand. This generation grew up with single parents with substance issues. Also, there's no need to go out drinking with the dating apps filling in that void.

Rusty did post quite a bit of development news this morning, most of which has been discussed here for weeks/months. But, I did not know that Lululemon was moving from their current space to a larger space next to CocoShrimp.

In hindsight, I did see some permitting stuff come across from them a while back for remodeling, but I didn't look at the address/suite information closely and just assumed it was their current space.

According to the Bryan mayor, Waffle House in BCS is "in the works."
He did an interview on WTAW this morning and said he used to date someone that now works at Waffle House corporate office in Virginia (I would have just said "I have a connection in their corporate office" lol). They have been in conversations about getting a Waffle House in the area. For their distribution system, there would need to be six Waffle Houses, so they are in discussions about Waffle House locations in Bryan, College Station, Navasota, and Hempstead.

Yeah, I am skeptical, but he felt confident enough to announce it on radio today. I am not one who gets the hype behind Waffle House, but I know they have a very loyal fanbase.
He better not be lying or I'll put my considerable influence into getting him booted.

Several Waffle House locations is likely the only way it would work. Imagine having only one Waffle House and trying to make a visit after the Aggie game.
For fun, what would be a couple of good locations each in Bryan and College Station for a Waffle House? Keep in mind their revenue model typically looks at less expensive real estate, so I don't see them going in at someplace like University and Texas.
Highway 47? West Villa Maria?
Hard to square it with cheap real estate but a Waffle House near Northgate seems like a gold mine.

That location across from Veterans near all the hotels would be suggestion. It is technically Bryan. Also, maybe a location in the parking lot of the mall - Bypass visibility.
Put it within a 1/4 mile a mobile home park and store managers get every annual bonus and a free jiu jitsu training for unruly customers.

There is a location in downtown Athens on Clayton Street, fairly close to the U of Georgia in the base of a tower that I've thought would be a great model for a Northgate location.

I know exactly the one your talking about. Not sure what the plans are for the building replacing the old gas station at Boyett and University but that would be prime time.
