Sad how far down the Eagle sank after being sold to Lee Enterprises. Not that it was anything great, but it was far superior than it is now. Don't know why folks even bother to read it any longer unless it's for sports only. I get more from WTAW.

I'm not a hipster but I have been called a hippie before and I love Trader Joe's. Daughter goes there and stocks up on all our faves when she goes to Houston. Did you actually buy anything or just look around? They've got some really great stuff there!
The frozen food at Trader Joe's is good and very affordable on price. It isn't for everyday shopping, but lots of good options and snacks.
I've bought some stuff there.

To me their big deal was having better frozen foods and meals than most places, but that's no longer the case as places like HEB have caught up.
Friends and family who I know who love them are not hipsters, but low income and unless things have changed it's hard to beat TJ's low low prices.
