She was obviously offside. Just get your damn flag up. ARs now are terrified to flag offside and would rather get it wrong and let VAR bail them out. That one should have gone up immediately.

I'm at the match and it is only ~1/2 full but it's been an active crowd....must just not be picking it up on tv. I'd say it's mostly locals who were cheering for the underdog to start. That first goal took some of the energy out of the stadium and now at 3-0, the crowd has shifted to Norway. They just want to see goals at this point.

Unfortunate this Australia / Italy match is on so early in the States. This has definitely been the most intriguing, back & forth match of the tournament. Italy doesn't look like a team that should be ranked just below South Korea & Spain based on performances thus far.

That's at least the 3rd horribly delayed offside flag. VAR says hold it if you aren't sure or it's close but these aren't close. They are causing lots of problems waiting like this.

The officiating has not been good this match.

This game was poorly refereed. 40 fouls. She called 40 fouls for who knows what. She gave DFKs in stoppage for fouls at each end and neither were remotely fouls. And one led to the winning goal.
