The standard for GKs on their line has changed dramatically. One step has now turned to nothing and any encroachment is a card. Its happening un the U-20s and now here. GK's everywhere better look out.

Bunny Shaw is a load. She is just putting defenders on the ground everywhere.

True statement. Also, the Italians really enjoy tripping over their own feet and acting like they got mugged.

I just like looking at the Jamaican goalie. I'm sad she won't be playing more than 3 games.
What the hell was a Brazilian player and her GK doing on the field?mathguy86 said:
What the holy hell? A Brazilian player blows up her own GK and Jamaica has the ball with an open net and she stops play. Are you kidding me?
Their keeper was playing out of her mind today, disappointed to see them lose that one.littlebitofhifi said:
I'm not buying Argentina at #37. Did they just not play enough to garner points in the rankings?

Weird there's only two games today and tomorrow but then four on Monday and Thursday, isn't it?

Three years ago, it seemed that the team hit rock bottom. Years of neglect by the Argentine Football Federation (AFA) translated into a team on paper, but not in reality. The federation did not schedule regular competitive matches for the team, nor did they invest much in training, facilities, or players. They even failed to retain a head coach.
Not surprisingly, Argentina fell to the bottom of FIFA's World Rankings by 2016, a reality made all the more glaring when juxtaposed against the breathless media coverage of the men's team as they performed the most mundane tasks in their build-up to contesting the 2018 Russia World Cup.
When Argentina was called into action, they were treated as second-class citizens. In August 2017, the players were scheduled to play Uruguay but forced to travel by bus to Montevideo, departing and returning on the same day.

Utterly pointless VAR review, card, and penalty.

VAR should only be used for offside and fouls off the ball.
