I admit to being torn. Yes I want Spurs to win to keep that gap back to Liverpool. But on the other hand I was to see Spurs get relegated so badly I can taste it.

I honestly want either Forest or West Ham to go down… because both have players I want lol.

I actually don't really want anyone on Spurs. I guess I'd trade Dalot for Porro… but I'm sure I could find other right backs I'd like more. (Edit: maybe Archie Grey for a squad midfielder? But… meh. Christopher Vivell probably likes Xavi Simons, but … not for me.)

Even when Casemiro struggled he was still a tremendous asset in the EL. His physical decline would be masked a bit in Europe. I'd be all for him coming back at a lower salary.

I was skeptical of Cunha signing because he'd over performed his xG significantly at Wolves. And he has definitely regressed to the mean (7 goals).

But extremely impressed with him regardless. He's a very intelligent footballer. So good at ball progression on the dribble and he busts his ass defensively as well. So yeah the goals have dropped off but he provides a lot of positives beyond that.

Mainoo signing for 5 years would obviously be great. No guarantees of what the future holds for him, but if you don't keep a player with his skillset, in a position of eternal need, and who came up through the academy, then what's the point of even running a football club?

I'm happy in theory with the Maguire signing but it will depend on the salary. He's reaching the age where he might do a VVD and just turn into a pile of crap overnight. Ideally you have him penciled in as a squad player next season. If he surprises you, start him. If not, you didn't intend for him to be first choice anyway.

I don't think Maguire will fall off a cliff like VVD. VVD relies too heavily on his speed. If you pair Maguire with the right back line and don't expect him to cover all of the ground, he can still be an excellent defender. With how many set piece goals are scored, we need a physical body like Maguire.
