I've wondered if they would go that route with Tim, but I think it's more likely he disappears into Thailand at the end of the vacation.
Or all of that happens. Tim finds faith, gets spared prosecution, has a renewed lease on life, then gets shot to death by a monkey.TCTTS said:
Tim's panic/dread is so deep, and has lasted so many episodes now, that I not only think he lives, but that he's somehow ultimately spared from prosecution/financial ruin. The fact that he was about to end it all himself, but was interrupted at the last second (and then turned to prayer), only solidified this for me.
I feel like Mike White didn't tell Walter what Sam Rockwell was going to say 😂😂#WhiteLotus #TheWhiteLotus pic.twitter.com/AGKmxi6Aud

nothing in the history of Hollywood could prepare the viewer for how far Sam Rockwell’s character in “The White Lotus” took the partying pic.twitter.com/SAlkqfy0M3

Not every scene has to move a plot forward IMO. I think it was a showcase for incredible acting by both actors, incredible writing, and the highlight how depraved people can be when they give in to their inner desires. The next scene with those two did move the plot in terms of Rockwall's character saying he will do whatever since he owes Rick.Diggity said:
I guess I just didn't find that scene as amazing as some of you guys.
totally random and off the wall, but didn't do anything to move the story forward.
Just felt shoehorned in to me.
I'm surprised no one has commented on Coon's scratching her arse.FtWorthHorn said:
Surprised not to see more discussion about Michelle Monaghan hooking up with their butler after trying to get Carrie Coon to do it. That one's going to explode in a LOT of ways.
I have to laugh at this, bc my favorite Mike White scene of all time is him comically explaining Shakespeare.Quote:
the acting was fine, and Goggins reactions were the funniest part, but let's not pretend Rockwell talking about getting pegged was Shakespeare.

I told my wife on this week's episode the only storyline that wasn't stressing me out was the brothers with the two chicks, and then they went and had them kiss.
We will see but I don't really think the kiss will be that big of a deal. I was pretty shocked in season 2 when Tonya walked in on the dudes banging, but they didn't make that too big of a deal either, beyond those guys being scam artists.
Hate to tell you, but I feel confident that we haven't seen the last of that... there's been a lot of foreshadowing at an odd sexual dynamic between the brothers (even towards the sister) and sweet Lil Lochy def has some weird hangups going on.
It's going to get uncomfortable...

Since Season 1 had 6 episodes, Season 2 had 7, and Season 3 has 8,TCTTS said:
As this thread continues to blow up, I wanted to go back and check the prior seasons' threads to see how popular they were in comparison.
Season one was somehow only nine pages...

... while season two was eighteen pages...
https://texags.com/forums/13/topics/3334447
... yet we're already at fifteen pages for season three, with the potential to pass season two's total before this Sunday, with three episodes still to go.
Say what you will about this season not being as good as the past two (I disagree), but it's causing way more discussion, and viewership is currently a whopping 78% higher than last season during the same amount of episodes.

I could see Tim staying in Thailand at the monastery verse Piper. One, the show had made a point to remind us that those who are hiding from justice come to Thailand. Second, after he almost off's himself he turns to God.Quinn said:
