Since we're all on crazy theories (and what else would we be doing today?) I'm heavy on this one. I think we all know we can't be done with the tsuuuunaaaaaamiiiiiis yet. In that real live video Lochy shows his dad of the guy just standing before the tsunami drowns him, the guy is wearing just a red swimsuit.

In that awkward overlong water hammock sequence where Lochy is going way too deep into his sister's sex life- he is wearing same red swimsuit. Far from the craziest one I've seen yet.

Looks like some people in the comments are confusing things so to clarify: The short theme for S3 was intended the way it is from the start, there was never concern from anybody about bringing back the previous vocals and nobody censored a longer version. 1:45 is the HBO norm and that's that. Any longer version was to come out on the album, as in the previous season. What was refused by the production is to bring a longer version later in the show. I asked for that because it would have been the perfect buildup towards the party, the "hit" drop or whatever... The club would have exploded. My favourite version of all is actually nothing but the voice from S3 theme, which I also posted. I don't need any music with it. This version here is for the sake of joy and party, and would have been fun to feel like you're on that yacht with this music.

I haven't watched it. I played the first game and was, against my will, made very aware of the second game's plot. Is the show worth?

I could not be happier to have been absolutely wrong about everything (and clearly easily faked out, bc with about 8 mins left in the ep, I was about to be right on everything).

Lochy was a goner about 5 mins into the ep, and I couldn't have been sadder.

Also closing with "nothing is more important than family, right?" followed by the expressions of all of the Ratliffs not agreeing at all who don't EVEN KNOW they almost got murdered by him the day before- *chef's kiss*

Cant't wait to see who we get back next year.

Gonna sleep on it. Enjoyed it for the most part - really like how they tied the girl's group out. I thought that was a pretty good monologue about being present.

Ratcliff thread:
Wasn't crazy how they pulled the rug out from under us with Lochy surviving. Maybe that tragic end would've been to heavy? I dunno

I can't decide if those girls tying things out was still them being FOS with and to one another still or not. Was that just them doing a fake makeup before they go back to the real world? I can't decide.

Proxima Midnights speech was incredibly sad and I think hollow trying to convince herself that time made things ok for her.

Loch would have been too much. Ended things right for that fam. Enjoyed the irony of Belinda (still a lame ass character) Tanya'ing Pornchai. It being Rick's dad and dark winning vs hope was fairly telegraphed, but still solid. Going back to the resort though? He needed to just have told the old guy off in Bangkok vs assaulting him

Ya, I thought for sure locks was going to be the only one dead when he said "ya I could live with nothing".

Though I wish Saxon would have said "we love you dad. I'm with you" or something like that on the boat when the dad was staring at the water.

I thought they handled the 3 ladies well. Complicated relationship that includes jealousy and some internal pain that will stay that way, but at the core, they were friends before and still are.

All the people who accepted their fate and went with it (amor fati) ended up with at least somewhat happy endings, the one person that didn't ended up killing himself, his dad and his GF, outside of pornchai, poor guy. But making Belinda turn into JC was an ice tough. Pretty strong theme in the end. That's why they couldn't kill Lochlan and have that ending. Though it would have been pretty remarkable had they done it.

Thoroughly entertaining season of TV.

Totally diving headfirst into what season 4 is, no matter what.

I think Mike White got a *little* too smart for his own good. And that's what's going to happen when a show grows like this- he spent too much faking us out. And that just all doesn't feel satisfying at the end.

I do think the dialogue was a step up, the acting across the board was a step up. The individual group scenes across the board were phenomenal. But we became conditioned after the first 2 seasons of trying to then guess *everything*, which he knew. And so the overall plots/fakeouts got too cute in where we landed.
