Back to the show:
What do we think is in store for the next episode?
My levels of interest:
1) What is Rick going to do in Bangkok? Kill his father? Was Sam Rockwell's monologue just an acting/character development flex or is this guys back story going to affect the plot?
2) I think Tim/Jason Issac is now past the kill himself phase and into some take action phase, we see him pointing the gun at someone in the preview. This is rip for some drama/action.
3) Gaitok is obviously careening for a downfall. How bad does it get for him in this next episode?
4) Hotel manager Fabian, I initially thought we wasn't going to be as important as the hotel manager has been in seasons pasts and was more just a comic relief type character, but this past episode has me rethinking that. What happens with him?
I wonder if we get a Darth Vader situation in that Rick shows up to kill the guy who murdered his father, only to find out the "murderer" IS his father. And that Rick's mom, like Obi-Wan, lied all those years ago so as to not expose Rick to the truth (that his father actually abandoned them).
Regardless, we see in the preview for Sunday's episode that Rockwell's character tags along with Rick on at least part of the way to see the man who murdered Rick's father. They're on a little boat together. So, yeah, one would think Rockwell's character will, indeed, affect the plot in some way beyond last week's monologue.
