Patrick Schwarzenegger deserves all the credit for adding such intricate, layered nuances to Saxon, a character that started the season as the most obnoxious but concluded as one of the most fascinating and multifaceted. pic.twitter.com/5nWtsoIBxD

Couldn't disagree more. It wasn't wildly unpredictable but I like that it wasn't something completely out of the blue that the season hadn't built toward.
Every plotline got wrapped up in a pretty satisfying way, IMHO.

How about the Indian therapist lady?
Rick begged her to help him right then. If she had prioritized his immediate and obvious mental health crisis, then none of that would have happened and we likely don't have five dead people.
She has to live with that for the rest of her life. What a massive fail by her.

The finale was good.
Unpopular opinion, but this season is my least favorite of the 3.
Pleasant surprises:
1. Patrick Schwarzenegger's acting. His character development was awesome
2. Parker Posey was hilarious the entire season
3. Belinda had a bit of character redemption in the finale. She's still a wet rag, but less of a wet rag than she was midway through
Gripes:
1. Gaitok/Mook storyline was never really interesting
2. Laurie's wrap-up sucked. I hated the way the 3 birds all came together happy to be in each other's good company at the end
3. Incest. Again, completely over the top and unnecessary to be in the show.
4. I really felt Goggins was underutilized. His character had very little payoff and was frustrating more than anything
Scwartzy and Pratt at Arnold's family Easter get together, or whatever, where Pratt is training him to eye-fk the camera is really a scene we need in some form on the White Lotus. I've been watching Pratt since before he ever knew how to eye-fk any camera, much less train a Schwarzenegger how to do it.Quote:
Schwarzenegger sent in a tape based off of a one-sentence descriptor of Saxon, the eldest of the Ratliff children, which read something like "a Southern finance bro who works for his dad and is a total flirt." The producers insist that Schwarzeneggar had to "overcome his last name," which he clearly did and quickly. In fact, he took the advice of his brother-in-law, actor Chris Pratt, who urged him to make his audition tape memorable, which he accomplished by, in his words, "eye-****ing" the camera.

In what universe did Goggins' character have "little payoff"? He was responsible for half a dozen deaths, including his own and another main character's.
I love an unforgettable finale facial expression from a White Lotus character who had the most unexpected character development over the course of the season pic.twitter.com/nvZ2OnU8jb
