Neither is 290. The Bastrop location gets what it gets due to the confluence of three state highways, I believe collectively the traffic count is higher than Highway 6, at least in the parts south of town.

Stopped by the Schulenburg location on the way home from the deer lease and it's like a very tiny
very recognizable retail gas station with nice bathrooms that we would normally see on an interstate highway.
And chronically understaffed at checkout. So much so, that we've gone back to the questionably sanitary Pilot truck stop on the highway

Yeah. Comparing Bastrop to BCS is not a good plan. BCS is between…Hempstead and Waco? Madisonville and Caldwell?

Anyone know the estimated date of Sprouts opening? Made a Twin Liquors run just before Thanksgiving and it looked like the work was coming along fast.
Their permitting paperwork put an estimated date of July.

Used Lapels Laundromat this morning. It's bright and clean. Multiple sizes of machines. Super helpful and friendly staff.

SIAP, Harvest Coffee's downtown location is moving up the street to the Kimball Event Center.
There's also a new coffee shop (can't remember the name) going in the space formerly occupied by Ronin

There are too many restaurants without a clear identity. They have to provide a reason you want to go yo their location and your friends or family agree.

Not sure how I feel about this; I like dragging my laptop to Harvest to work. But maybe this is an upgrade? And I wonder what's going in that space (which I like a lot).
New "for lease" sign up where Sprouts was coming and work appears to have stopped.
Looked like some concrete forms up at Smitty K site around the cleaned off slab. Didn't see any other indications around it.
