Yes. I think right now the hunch is fly fishing man (who died from a rattlesnake bite within 10 seconds, which, ok) hired them to do the dirty work.

I can see why people might think that, but don't think that's the case. If he was a ghost. I don't think they would have shown him driving a truck, riding a horse, or reacting to John riding off. But you never know.

If that wasn't one of the best season premiers/payoffs, I'm not sure what is. That was incredible.

Glad Sheridan has kept Yellowstone going well. I was concerned after his recent movie with Angelina Jolie.
Loved the premiere. The gun battle was crazy although I'm fairly certain those guys wouldn't have popped out of that van after getting rammed like they did. Yeah, that rattler to the face was amazing but dead that fast, maybe he was allergic.
Overall, that was all over the place. Felt like about 8 new subplots added to the main and ones already there. I was tired after watching.
