It came from the broker. But what would he know?
I'll leave it at this, a person I know very well called Sam Middleton and asked to look at the Frisco Creek Ranch. He replied that it was pending and that he'd let him know if it fell through. That was back in January of 2021. I was in the guy's vehicle when he called Sam.Charpie said:

JCA1 said:I don't doubt that and I think most understand that real estate often sells for less than list (particularly when it's already been reduced 40%). But the post you disputed didn't say it sold for list price. It said it sold for under $200 million. I presume that is accurate.AgAE said:JCA1 said:AgAE said:Charpie said:
the 6666 sold. Original price was 341 million. It sold for under 200 million.

That price is not correct. Trust me. No news agency , website or reporter has any idea what the actual purchase.
Are you saying the list price is not accurate?
The list price was the list price. The list price was not the sale price.

I miss Taylor Sheridan spinning in a circle on a horse. Not sure how this turned into the ranch real estate board.

So post Taylor Sheridan spinning on a horse.
Yes, yes they do. It is amazing to see the young foals that are bred for this kind of movement naturally do some rudimentary spins even before they are weaned.combat wombat said:
Do you suppose the horse(s) LIKE that?
Interesting side note, that scene where he is spinning was filmed as part of a reined cow horse show in Fort Worth this past summer. Without asking permission and as part of the scene, the Yellowstone folks put up a sign at one of the end gates that clearly spooked a number of horses during the reining portion of their finals run. (Sign was not there in the prelims and was there in the finals…..right where the horses are always looking for the cow to come out when they finish their reining run). It was a bit of a cluster so the Yellowstone producers just paid first place money to every contestant that made the finals…that sign ended up costing them about $200K. A lot of happy horse trainers that day…..they went from furious to elated.WP69 said:
Should have guest hosted Lyle. He has reining horses.
