There's one piece that doesn't make sense as I think about it.

Why did Greg change his name? Presumably he would have gotten Tanya's money and could live out in the open? I am wondering if either the police made the connection with the extortion/murder plot, or some of the surviving gays are after him. Or even better, Portia is trying to get even after figuring out what happened and feeling like she's owed something. Either way, it's a plot piece I am thinking we will hear about and would be a great answer to the shooter question.

ETA:
And given that characters on this show rarely roll over season to season and he's now been in all three, it lends itself to the idea that his time is likely ending. So I am betting some harm will come to him, my theory related or not.

His name is GregGary, and he will only be referred to as such.

Unlike Leslie Bibb, Michele Monoghan, Carrie Coon, Parker Posey, Patrick Schwarzenegger, and Jason Isaacs.

It's slander to refer to GregGary as anything but GregGary. (And he's done worse than slander I'm sure.)

I don't even care about the pacing on this.

I could spend 127 episodes with the Ratliff family. I don't know what's going to happen, but I can't wait for it.

My side-theory: Victoria was the one that tipped off the Feds regarding Tim's embezzlement/fraud. She's been setting him up for a while and has been enabling his pill-popping so that he wouldn't be able to think clearly when he realized stuff has hit the fan. I think she's trying to find a way to get his money before he's hauled in. He ends up shooting her since she didn't think a gun would be in the equation.

Have thoroughly enjoyed these last two episodes - this cast has been more entertaining overall in my humble opinion. I liked how episode 3 was shot. The tsunami dream sequence and the numbing scenes shot on Isaacs.

A very intentional Dies Irae piano progression for those soundtrack dorks out there - did ya'll hear it? That scene where Belinda and GregGary exchange glances.
