Stabbed a guy in the heart at 10am in the morning.

People barely up drinking coffee and somebody gets stabbed. Sounds like the meet hadn't even started yet.

What infuriates me most about the judge lowering the bond is the kid brought a knife to a track meet. That action makes this pre-meditated. You don't bring a knife large enough to kill a person to a track meet unless you have some intent to use it.

And it's not like this track meet was in a sketch part of high crime inner city area. This was in freaking Frisco.

Do we really know that? It's possible that it was donated for the sole purpose of picking him up. Like the the black groups are supporting him, they may have allowed the use of this vehicle.

I don't love how this is playing out. This is clearly becoming something that's clearly divided on racial lines, where the black community is turning this into some civil rights issue to distract from the obvious facts of the case. Once the ball starts rolling, it's tough to not have this spin out of control.

I think the family is going to take this to trial. I think they're going to be advised to do this by the people in their corner, who are becoming militant about this kid "being wronged". And once we're at trial, it becomes a national story about race, meaning we may not even be getting a jury to focus on anything except that.

This reeks of OJ 2.0. Most will laugh here, but ever day I think the possibility is growing that this kid will walk.

More like Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman or Rittenhouse trials. It was shocking to me to see how many people never knew that Rittenhouse had not shot any black persons. They were all white. But that was not the media's preferred narrative. And had there not been so much video evidence of what happened that night, Rittenhouse also would have been railroaded.

Now if the police do have video of the confrontation and stabbing, I am not saying to release those. That's more of a prosecutorial decision. BUT if there is body cam evidence of these officers responding to the scene and talking with witnesses, release the transcripts, at least. The arrest report is very detailed as arrest reports go but too few people have read that report.

In the 90s we have Public Enemy and Anthrax make an album, MTV was naturally diverse, and things were certainly moving in the right direction. The Rodney King riots didn't set things back either. The left bears the responsibility for the setback in race relations. The world view they hold is in stark contrast to reality. If they didn't have the power, knowing now how impactful it was, of NGOs we would be alive in their near ideal state.
