We've had garbage like this in Dallas since the 90's, probably longer. Remember the tech company in (I believe Richardson) who got raided by the FBI in the 90's, they were funneling money back to Iran or some POS anti-American country.

Can you share the information you have about prosecutors refusing to charge people who have committed honor killings with murder?

I'd love to admit that you are correct but I can't find any evidence to support your claim.

The holy land foundation. I remember seeing their billboards in Dallas and thinking it was fishy. It was the largest Islamic charity in the United States until the U.S. government shut it down. Several leaders went to prison. It was funding Hamas IIRC.

Any issue with doxing should be handled through a protective order by the trial court judge.

It would be malpractice for the defense lawyers to not try to get the names of all potential witnesses IMO.

Don't like that decision at all. Now, if there are still some witnesses who will be called who are minors, turn the cameras off during their testimony. Other than that? Allow one pool feed from the courtroom and audio for a press room if do not want the press in the gallery.

We have figured out how to do this since the Sam Shepard case decades and decades ago. Frankly, I was dismayed the court even cited that case. Was really reaching with that one.

And this is why we are in shape we are in. The squeaky wheels make judges and politicians wet noodles who fold to their whinning.
Guarantee there are plenty of black folks who would want justice if their kid was victim. But I guess salaries are too high for a judge to have a backbone and risk being called racist etc.
and all this trickles down to our kids who see that there is no justice and just don't care about our constitution.

After the way the Karen Read trial played out I bet there are judges working hard to find justification to keep cameras out of the courtroom. The incompetence and corruption of Boston police, expert witnesses, judge Bev, and prosecutors were aired all day for weeks. A lot of careers ruined.

Been in front of this judge. He isn't going to be intimidated by defense group hoodlums trying to hijack the media. Absent mistakes, I think he'll try to enforce it fairly.
