I missed the game, but wins like that were you come from behind are so important to have for a young team.

Hornets played poorly, but held off the Hawks and won, which moves the Hornets officially above the Hawks. I kind of hope Sochan ends up with the Hornets. He seems like the right guy for them and they have lots of shooting.

Hawks are officially 11th worst team right now, which is where I think they end up. That would give the Spurs a 9% shot at top 4 and 78% at 11th.

However, in an interesting development, the Bucks won with Cam Thomas and are only 2 games back from the Hawks. If Cam Thomas can keep them afloat until Giannis comes back, they may not actually tank.

Rockets also lost to the Clippers.

Spurs are 3.5 games back from OKC and 3.5 games ahead of the Nuggets.

Yeah, here is the new video by Pablo Torre:



Essentially, he has verified proof that the Clippers were funneling money to Uncle Dennis and tampering with Kawhi all the wya back to when he was with the Spurs, not just when he was on the Raptors.

My predictions remain the same:

All happens after March 1st, the deadline for players to be on a team roster and be allowed to play in the playoffs, because Kawhi joining a team on the vet min right now would swing the balance of the league. That said, if he wanted to play PF for us right now for the BAE, I could probably put up with it like I put up with Chris Paul.

Section 2 violation penalties:

- Anyone in Clippers that knew, up to 1 year suspension
- 7.5M fine for team
- loss of draft picks (how many is unspecified)
- NBA can void players' contract.
- 350k fine for player
- NBA can force player to pay back anything gained from the no show deal
- NBA can prevent the player from ever playing for that team again

So void Kawhi's contract after the playoff roster deadline. Fine and suspend Frank/Ballmer. Lifetime ban Uncle Dennis from NBA. Clippers don't own their own 1sts until 2030. I think the NBA should take away one first every other year from 2030 to 2040. So 30, 32, 34, 36, 38, 40.

I'm thinking it's been so quiet because of the reasons you mentioned...voiding Kawhi's contract before the March 1 throws the league into too much chaos. I've never thought the league was just not going to do anything....they have to come down hard or else every single owner is going to do whatever they can above or below the table to entice FAs and that's not conducive to a healthy league. Already seen speculation that Frank's recent 4 year extension was basically a thank you/hush money knowing the hammer is about to be dropped.

The only way the Zubac and Harden deals make sense to me is if the commissioner already told Ballmer he's ****ed and that there is no way the Clippers are getting to keep Kawhi through the playoffs.

Otherwise, why sell off after your team finally got healthy and back in playoff position?
