How about pretty much any rangers thread from the time they became relevant again till last year when the orioles actually displayed a pulse for the 1st time in over a decade.

but I don't even have to go back that far. You showed your ranger homerific ass just a few days ago when you engaged mhayden in a very lengthy "debate" (in quotes because he basically destroyed you in all facets) on the merits of the rangers manager.

only a fan of that team would have gone as far as you did in that thread arguing back and forth. A casual bystander with no rooting interest may post once or twice (usually not at all), but you went on for over a page.

here is the timeline of events on the texags baseball other board for fredo:

1.Prior to 2010 when the rangers and orioles were both garbage, you posted from time to time about the orioles on the AL East thread (usually in a self-depricating fashion). I don't remember seeing you post much regarding the rangers.

2. 2010 and 2011 - the rangers go to back to back WS. You can be found posting nightly on most ranger game threads and during the playoffs you make zero effort to conceal your excitement at their success (during both years you still post in the tolerable self-depricating fashion about the O's cuz they still suck ass)

3. 2012 - Present: the O's finally show a pulse, and you start pumping them hard on the AL East thread. You realize if you want to continue to be the #1 true blue oriole fan on the board, then you should probly cool it a bit on the ranger threads so you start only posting on them intermittently and with a slant of more of just an observer.

But your fandom comes out on threads about the rangers like the most recent "does wash suck" thread. It's plain as day and much worse than anyone who would hypothetically feel the need to post under multiple usernames.

1. In your opinion based on what you've seen fredo post in the last 3-4 years, could a reasonable assumption be made by a casual observer that he takes more than a casual interest in the texas rangers organization?

2. Do you believe that simply being born in a random area is the only legitimate tie to being a fan of a team in that region?
