I'm sorry token but why wouldn't I defend DKM? He's a fellow Boston fan. And from what I've seen in the year or so that i've followed this thread, he only seems to fire back negatively when someone else trolls him first.
if his ban isn't permanent it may be a good thing (gives him a chance to cool off for a few days) but the person who trolled him (corleoneag99) should also get a ban of the same length for stirring the pot simply to do so, seemingly adding nothing of substance to the discussion.

Thank God that none of my friends or family back home were injured in the tragic attacks on Boston yesterday. Hopefully the same can be said for any family/friends you have in the area as well.

Like I said corleone, i've only been keeping up with this thread/board for around a year or so, but I have to call it like I see it.

DKM should probly have a thicker skin when it comes to the "tshirt" thing because it really is silly since a fan can be a true fan no matter where they physically reside, but hey everyone has their hot button issues that get under their skin no matter how ridiculous they may be.

I don't condone the level to which he has gone when he's responded to the trolling. He's been over the top to say the least.
My point is simply that I haven't seen him being the one starting the exchanges. Bottom line he may have been wrong to come back the way he did/does, but if he isn't provoked in the first place, he probly doesn't go into a curse filled rant.

Well corleone it doesn't seem to me that the term "tshirt fan" is really much of an insult. But man does it sure seem to fire him up for whatever reason. Because all it means is he didn't happen to grow up in the new england region. Doesn't make his fandom any less valid in my (and any logical person's) eyes.

If you say so corleone, I guess you've been on this thread longer than I have, but i certainly don't recall him ever saying that his father wasn't even from NE or that he only started following them around 2004.

Any real Red Sox fan was ashamed whenever the streak got brought up by the national media, because to anyone with two good eyes it had become nothing but a punchline. Thank god ownership finally wised up this year and officially put the "streak" out of it's misery.
