Well, attendance was better in Montreal than it is in Tampa.
Okay, I didn't mean to compare the two players' careers and talent. Obviously, that's dumb.
But, you've got a solid pitcher who plies his trade for a few years, elevates to a level where he wins the NL Cy Young and then goes to the American League the following year. Similar itinerary, even if one guy is driving a Ford and the other a Ferrari.

Yeah, I'm not saying he was a dominant NL pitcher, its just amazing what kind of pitching talent filtered through that hell hole back in the day.

I posted here a bit last year and forgot all about the thread this year...Like the start the Sox are on but I'm not sure they can keep the pace up. The pitching has been a pleasant surprise. Even before Lackey got hurt again, he looked fairly decent.
In regards to the strike 3 Nathan got last night, WHAT A JOKE! As a hitter, I probably would have done a lot more then Zobrist did lol...

Would've been nice this morning to wake up and check the boxscore to find the correct result of last night's game, a 5-4 red sox win.
