I will say... I'm a younger Astros fan (both and raised in Houston and gone to games since about 2002 when I was in elementary school) ... but if we weren't in the same division, I wouldn't hate the Rangers.
I didnt even see this as a rivalry until we joined the AL in 2013. It's more fun to have an in state rival than have a rivalry with somebody like the Cardinals or Pirates

I haven't lost hope because I'm about that #nevereverquit. The Rangers have taken 2 of the last 3. I just think it's hilarious that the Astros finally stop being an embarrassment to the state of Texas and all these "Astros" fans come out of the wood works beating their chests.
