Spurs are actually playing some defense... or were until the last 3 possessions. Not nearly so many rhythm shots in the second quarter as the last couple games.

I'm a little surprised that Splitter has been able to stay on the court. Splitter usually gets called for a lot of proximity fouls and Nowitzki usually draws a lot of proximity fouls. Really nice work this series.

Leonard ought to get a little credit. Blocked a shot at the rafters, disrupted some plays, picked up 6 boards, mostly messy ones, and while he only has 4 points and an assist they came at the right time.

Dirk's getting old and doesn't have the luxury of resting alot during the season. Splitter is doing a good job but dude sets like 5 picks a possession and busts his ass on defense. Dude's tired.

Not to mention he gets mauled on the reg so you can cool it with the Dirk getting away with murder talk.

Amazing what happens when the Mavs aren't making jump shots like they are layups. I'd like to think they aren't going to shoot better than they have in the first 3 games and they cannot get inside consistently. Go back to being the 8th seed please.
