I would rather face Portland. There isnt a big on SA roster that could do anything with Dwight. I dont want TP to get slammed to the ground over n over again by Dwight and Beverly every time he drove. However, I do feel comfortable with being able to defend Harden.
Overall, I think both Port and Houston have subpar benches. I think Spliter and Diaw have the ability to stay in front of Aldridge. big Al isnt a really overwhlemingly physical or athletic guy, hes just fundamentally sound. Splitter has been playing very good Defense this playoffs so far, and I like his chances of "containing" Big Al.
Lillard is a baller, but so is TP and theyll likely cancel each other out.

There's some truth to that. Portland has a lot more speed and athleticism though. Plus Portland plays a lot of small ball and the Spurs tend to play their best when they are allowed to play their big lineup of TD and Tiago. Portland would take Tiago and/or TD off the floor a lot by playing Aldridge at the 5. Spurs can win playing small but I prefer them stay big.
Any combination of Green, Belinelli and Mills playing well with Manu or Parker and small ball would be fine.

Spurs can play small but were better when Tiago is able to be effective. The guy is the second best defender on the team hands down. And our defensive numbers with him on the floor/off the floor support that big time. The guy is very important.

4 spurs turnovers and 4 offensive rebounds led to 9 more shots in one quarter for the Mavs. Both teams are shooting great, so that many extra shots allowed has been the difference.
What kind of lineup is this? Diaw, belenelli, Leonard, mills and splitter? I hope pop knows more than me.

Yep, Dallas has 9 offensive rebounds. The spurs have one. Spurs would be up by 10 if they didn't give up those extra shots. At least the defensive intensity has picked up. Manu has given us nothing (our high scorer this series) and we are still in it, despite all that.
Green 5/5 in the first, no shots in the second.
