Mavs had no intensity again for three quarters
I missed the game b/c I had to work, but it looks like Parker played well despite the ankle.
Vince being annoying as Fisher usually is
Parker did great. Hit the 3 that provided the cushion here at then end.

Friggin Mavs shouldn't even be close with the Spurs absolutely dominating the paint. Yet they go through stretches where they make outside shot after outside shot... Many of which are heavily contested. It really is unbelievable at times. Tonight should have been a 20 point victory. So annoying!
That was a great game. What a series.
That was the best the Spurs have looked all series. Great offense and played stretches of solid D.
Kawhi was aggressive. Danny had a couple good sequences. But Tiago. Man he has played so well. Allowed us to keep the lead when Dirk got hot. Tony with the great 1st quarter and that huge dagger at the end.
Vince playing lights out is pretty nuts. Dirk finally made shots. But he also set an NBA playoff record for ref complaining. And he did it in 3 quarters. So talented.
Go Spurs. Let's finish this in Dallas.

Well then obviously it was Duncan's record that Dirk smashed then.
I get the feeling that if the Spurs go on to win, they will absolutely destroy their next opponent (probably Portland). The Mavs are playing really hard and really well... San Antonio should have a much easier opponent if they can put Big D behind them.
Spurs hit their threes and limit their turnovers and they win.

With the Spurs, it's less about who their opponent is (other than if we're talking about OKC or Miami) and more about whether everyone is healthy AND whether a role player or two can step up. If neither one of those happen, they will have trouble with anyone they face the rest of the way.
Not facing a coach as good as Carlisle the rest of the playoffs will be nice as well.
And that I definitely agree with.

Seriously, I have never heard this except from Mavs fans.
Dirk whines more. He's got close to 50% more technical fouls over his career than Duncan and has played 1 less year.
Have to give Dallas credit. They just won't go away ever. Really hot shooting spread around their whole roster. I'm impressed. Not that I didn't think they could score but some of these shooting performances are insane.
Defensively, I think this is what most Spurs fans expected it to look like from day 1. It finally opened up for the Spurs and it seems they are much more comfortable with what Dallas is doing now.
Dirk and Vince shooting the ball like that in the fourth would have been enough to beat a lot of teams tonight.
Spurs need to match Dallas' energy on Friday and I think they have a good chance at closing this out. Looks like Dirk is starting to find a rhythm but everyone else is cooling off. VC won't shoot like that again. What was that stat TNT showed? He hadnt scored over 20 since 2010 or something ridiculous.

Oh and it was REALLY nice to see Tony play like he did tonight. Spurs fans needed to see that. He looked by far the best he has all series which is weird considering he got barely any sleep last night and his ankle is tender.
He isn't on the level of last year and might not ever get back there this season but it looks like he's capable of playing great and improving as his conditioning gets better.

Agreed Sher, they are making multiple shots that are just insane. Dirk got a bit ridiculous in the 4th, even by his standards which are insanely high to begin with. And Carter was flat out filthy tonight. Mavs have found at least 2 guys every night that play out of their mind. The Spurs haven't really had that much... Tiago tonight comes to mind, but his was more good feeds from his teammates and he finished. The Mavs are doing it all from range which makes it more impressive and frustrating.
While I am more confident now after the last 2 games, this series is not over. Dallas has been great all series. Game 6 will be tough to win.
