Good series Spurs fans! The rivalry had gotten pretty dormant over the last few years, but it picked back up nicely in this series. Hopefully we get one more playoff Dirk/Duncan match up while they are still good/great players.

Much respect to the Mavs on a great series. Obviously y'all gave us a scare and played muc better thanal anyone expected.
Game 7 may have been a dud from Dallas' standpoint but we got some great games to add to the Spurs-Mavs rivalry annals.

Agreed. Its been a great series. Mavs are a talented and well coached team. I think they would have gone deep in the bracket if they played in the East. Its tough to have to run up against the Spurs.
Now on to the real sports for Dallas.

Great series mavs fans. Was completely surprised that it went the distance. VC really turned back the clock for this series.
Great to see the spurs finally pour one on. Hopefully this game is the beginning of some good playoff basketball for them. Our bench definitely needs to contribute more as we progress. Marco with another goose egg stat line tonight. GSG!

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I think this is the Spurs first series win after going down 2-1 after losing Game 3.
I think Diaw's 3 in game 4 won the series for Los Spurs.

Kind of a bummer to hear Spurs fans chanting "Nowitzki sucks" as Dirk subbed out, unless I just completely misheard that. What a great series it's been though.
It was a heck of a series. I thought Spurs woyuld sweep. Not even close. Of course, I did think that the Spurs would play better and, at times, Dallas was lights out with the 3 ball.
I don't like the spurs because of their fans....

I agree - series was Game 4. Mavs had a chance to go up 3-1 and Spurs wouldn't have won Game 6 in Dallas.
Happy what the Mavs accomplished with a Swiss cheese roster and an aging Dirk. Scared the **** out of the mighty Spurs and had some fun in the meantime.

Mavs have such a damn strong roster for an 8 seed. Even after game 2, I thought this was over in 5. Y'alls offense is ridiculously good.

Great series and I'm glad the good guys were able to take control this game. Need to keep that momentum into the 2nd round.
We will definitely bring back dirk. I hope to god we don't bring back carter. Or Marion for that matter
