Don't know if it's been brought up, but I just put it together that the Hound is Yarp from Hot Fuzz.
Regarding Sansa leaving/not leaving, they showed her in the previews for next week...

Bronn didn't die. He's the guy who saved the Hound from the dude that was on fire outside the Mud Gate.
Wowsers, great episode once again, and a fine job of putting together that battle.
I loved Tyrion throughout the espisode. His speech was hilarious and his put-downs of Joffrey during the opening minutes fo the battle were great!
And I would have loved to see the fight between Bronn and the Hound - talk about immovable object vs. irresistible force!

That was pretty early in the battle... He was out there alone for a long time.
Yeah that was before the hound left and they closed the gate.

That's more logical than saving the Hound.
I think he's still alive but being left outside the wall would be a death sentence for most.
I was surprised he wasn't there to protect Tyrion during the battle. You'd think his last battle would have taught him to wear his helmet.
Was it one of the kings guards that sliced him? I seem to remember the guy looked like he had a gold cloak one. Not sure since I only watched it once.
Tyrion had a helmet at one point but removed it after the initial repel. And yes, he was betrayed by one of the gold cloaks who was there on behalf of Joffrey.

Yes. It was one of the Kingsguard (i.e. Jaime Lannister, Ser Barriston Selmy, etc.). Remember the guy that was mouthing at Tyrion and Tyrion said "Bronn...if Ser Meryn speaks again....kill him. That's a threat"? Meryn is a Kingsguard and they are different than the Gold Cloaks. The Gold Cloaks are like the city police. The Kingsguard are the 7 guys that are personal bodyguards of the king.
Someone stated above that it was a guy named Ser Manden Moore (sp). Not sure how they knew that other than from the book because I didn't recognize the character....just his uniform.

See Mandon Moore (and the rest of the Kingsguard) are on the same side as Tyrion. But Tyrion is a thorn in the side to a lot of people on his side. In the heat of battle, anything can happen. Some people might be glad to get the terrible news that Uncle Tyrion was killed in battle. Regrettable, but accidents happen in war, you know,
I gotcha... however, it did seem as long as Tyrion is alive (I think he is) he really stepped up in his popularity. The men were chanting his name, and he bravely led them into battle helping them win despite his physical stature. Nevermind the fact that Joffrey walked off like a little *****.

I realize that...but I didn't realize they focused in on which of those two Kingsguard that Joffrey spoke to was Mandon, as well as which of them attacked him.

It was either ser bouros blount or ser mandon moore, both were named to go with tyrion
Remember Joff said, "Ser Mandon, you will represent the king in the battle."
Maybe I'm mistaken buy didn't Tywin tell Ayra 2 episodes ago that he was headed to take on Robb Stark in battle? Him showing up at Kings Landing would show that he intentionally lied to her. Or maybe she just assumed that's where he was going.

Maybe the Knight of Flowers caught up with Tywin after he left Harrenhall, and convinced him to help crush Stannis.

Right, but that wouldn't explain why Tywin said he was going to go after Rob then end up in Kings Landing.
He never specifically said he was going after Robb, it was just implied.
Yeah, I think he just talked about how Robb was kicking all kinds of Lannister tail, then said we ride tonight. He probably saw that holding Kings Landing (and a "Lannister" on the throne) was more important strategically than facing Robb at the moment. And probably saw how f'ed he would be if he was squeezed between the armies of Robb and Stannis.
