#5 - proof is just above with a quote from one of the lawmakers who was influencedQuote:
I don't disagree with your fact #'s 1 thru 4. I've seen no proof of the validity of #5. I saw his reason #6 but no reference as to what age group makes up "the children" Making alcohol illegal for those under the age of 21 has certainly worked out well and the same outcome would probably also prevail for hemp products.
#6 - don't worry, Patrick doesn't know what age group he's referencing either, as he doesn't care. His law was a total ban for everyone. He just threw out "the children" because he doesn't want to say "bribery"
Since it's my opinion, I don't need to provide "proof". But the talk shows sure talk about the money he's getting. And, for clarification, when a politician is given "lobby" money for their campaign war chest in order to influence legislation, I define that as bribe money, and again it's why I listed those under opinion.Quote:
As for your opinions.... #'s 1and 2 are a reach (imho) I would like to see proof of #3 and if there is proof he is indeed doing so he needs to be charged and prosecuted. I would also like to see the proof for #4. If you have it please post it
As to #4, according to this, 53% oppose the ban and 31% support the ban. And, since most Texans only heard about this recently, many don't know WTF this is about. I've not talked to ANYONE that supports this ban. Abbott sure got the polling data as he vetoed this bill, even though he told Paxton he'd support it. But as it became more public, the voice was clearly in favor of him vetoing this POS bill.
Or just retire, which I plan on doing between 3-12 months.Quote:
As for your last comment if the only reason you are not using hemp products is because of drug testing by your employer you can either start working with your current employer to change their stance on these particular products because of facts 1 thru 4 or seek employment elsewhere where such testing and rules are not in place.
