Nope ....a couple of hits off a bong.

You'd be the first I've heard of that happening to. Also, who's your guy?
I have video of his bong experience.

Abbott vetoed the bill and the supporters of THC got what they wanted. The system worked. Why the continued non stop negativity and name calling by posters? You won. Can you not be satisfied with the win? I swear some of yall would bitz if you were given a million bucks just because it was all in $1 bills....
You know what? We won WWII, Hitler lost, the system worked. I suppose we should just stop, for the rest of all known time, denigrating Hitler and the Nazis and just be satisfied that we won the war. Nothing else to gain or learn from the victory I suppose.

Jeebus...what a flat out stupid take you have on this.
Hitler has been dead and gone for 80 years. Abbott vetoed the bill last night. I'd hate to see the comments on here today if he had not have vetoed it.......my TAKE on this is that some of you folks seem to get off on bellyaching about something all the time. Not to mention the number that tell those that disagree with them to go F themselves. Real mature behavior right there now. I can see why some of yall need a few gummies to calm you down.

My TAKE is that you are constantly interjecting yourself into a subject that you claim you don't care about, but can't seem to just leave alone, and have a stupid viewpoint at that.

Again...just my TAKE based on your posts.

The only one here that I"ve seen that really needs a gummy or two is....you.
So if a viewpoint doesn't agree with your viewpoint it's a stupid viewpoint. But then again you don't have the vaguest clue as to the reason I have the viewpoint I do, do you?
When it's a stupid viewpoint, it's a stupid viewpoint.

I've had many of them, but I'm man enough to actually admit that. My viewpoint on this subject isn't one of those though, yours is.

Yeah, not buying this at all.

Or you smoked some of Hector's weed laced with angel dust and woke up in Deebo's pigeon coop the next morning.

Which if that's the case, keeping the product legal and the more mainstream it gets means less and less of the black market stuff that may or may not have been tainted hits the streets, which is a good thing.

Nobody cares. Legalize THC and psilocybin yesterday. Less harmful to society than alcohol and many(all) other legal substances. No measurable negative to speak of. Texas is still spelled Freedom. Tylenol is more harmful to the human body than THC. Dan Patrick and the alcohol lobby are fighting a losing battle.

I am in the "legalize it" - "weed is not that big a d eal" crowd, but I can see it if you hit the bong too hard...or took way too high of a dose of edibles. A few years out of college, living in Houston, me and some friends were about to be out the door to walk to a concert down the street. We had all been hitting the joint and having a few beers., then the last man arrived just before we left.

We peer pressured him into taking the biggest hit he could possibly take out of the 3 ft bong. He was not an experienced smoker at all. I have never seen so much smoke come out of someone's head...and I have never heard anyone cough like that. Within seconds you could tell his night would be absolutely ruined.

He could barely walk or keep his eyes open...we had to lock arms with him on each side and guide him slowly to the concert. He was in the spirit world for the rest of the night lol. I did not envy him. It was like walking an invalid around a nursing home...he still wasn't right hours later. But he was actually probably feeling the best the next morning because he didn't drink.

Just know USPS does controlled deliveries. I had a friend mail some back to themselves from CO a few years ago. It sat in the DC for a week before it started moving and was hand delivered by postal inspector completing a controlled delivery. Wasn't a great experience for them.

If you do this, and get a note to sign for it at the post office or someone unusual coming to your door, I wouldn't accept delivery. You're pretty screwed if your name is on the package.

Is this really common or possible? I've always heard USPS is super lax on these things, with some even joking that USPS would be out of business if they started checking packages and enforcing this.

I've always heard it's very unlikely that something would happen. I'm also wondering what the biggest punishment would be. For example in Travis county, I don't even think they do anything if it's less than 2 ounces, but I get that USPS has federal overlap/jurisdiction.

Also same with TSA from what I've heard. I've actually flown back from CA with stuff in my carryon and nobody cares. I've always heard that TSA is way more focused on other things.

The things I would be worried about though are border stops, like the van horn area coming back into Texas. Sometimes they have drug sniffing dogs. I think that's how Willie got busted, and I've read other stories about people getting busted at the border stations. But not so much air travel or USPS.

Probably luck of the draw. They might just go after a few people on occasion to make an example of them. Total waste of resources and of course a grossly unAmerican restriction of freedom.

since your own personal experience seems to supercede what everyone here has been trying to tell you, you will have to accept me calling BS on this MSN (propo) piece with no citation, because THC has lowered my blood pressure to a much safer level. There always a downside, but it aint heart disease for me.

and for the more adventurous folks that like to get ******ed high, you still havent given them the name of your dealer yet. Just wait until you learn about Ayahuasca. Or better yet, the heavenly blue morning glory seeds a 15 year old can get at the local nursery.

Hemp is legal. Marijuana is not.

USPS/postal inspectors do check packages for weed from "legal" states like CA and CO. No one is shipping hemp based THC hidden in BBQ sauce bottles from those states.

My friend said the exact same thing. He's done it before. USPS doesn't check, etc. Well, they did.

TSA generally doesn't care but some, probably someone like Rattler if he were TSA, would get fed or local LE involved to jam someone up. You can also receive civil penalties for getting caught in an airport with it just like when someone gets caught at security with a gun. Relative who smokes a lot just retired as a TSA supervisor. We've discussed this a lot.

I don't think it's worth the risk. THC-A/D8 is available in most states so no reason to fly with it, and if flying to a legal state, just buy gummies or a vape there of the good stuff.
