Yikes. that must take nerves of steel as you see an incoming missile towards your aircraft!

that female fighter pilot is one of just a handful of living aircrew that have successfully ejected in combat.

I mean there can't be that many Vietnam pilots still around who ejected.

They are typically stuck w/back issues after this...spinal compression aint no joke.


I got a f18 buddy who punched out over the Indian ocean after supporting troops in Afghanistan but couldn't make it back to the ship...he shrunk like 3/4"

but 24 hours ago Iran fired at least two drones towards RAF base on Cyprus which were shot down by RAF Tornadoes

to have Hizbullah also fire munitions is a death sentence for those idiots

It will be interesting how the Saudis play this out as we start to get beyond the first few days and Iranians continue to attack. They likely do not mind the surge in oil prices but when you repeatedly attack the production then that hits a bit harder

they have a literal combined naval operations and Air Force units which train together
