#BREAKING The Defense Army eliminated in Tehran the commander of the Lebanon Corps affiliated with the Iranian Quds Force
The Air Force struck earlier today in the Tehran area and eliminated Dawood Ali Zadeh, who served as the acting commander of the Lebanon Corps affiliated with the Iranian Quds Force, succeeding Hassan Mahdavi, who was eliminated in a Defense Army airstrike. Ali Zadeh was the highest-ranking Iranian commander responsible for Iranian activities in Lebanon.
The Lebanon Corps serves as the vital link between Hezbollah and the Iranian regime and acts as a supporting entity for the expansion of Hezbollah's power and its military buildup. It also functioned as a connecting link between senior Quds Force commanders and Hezbollah's leadership.
Ali Zadeh previously held several positions, including commander of the strategic combat means unit in the Quds Force, where he oversaw the expansion of Hezbollah's arms in the field of strategic combat means. He also served as a prominent knowledge reference in the field of Hezbollah's capabilities and those of other proxies.
Zadeh assumed his position at the conclusion of Operation Northern Arrows and was involved in rebuilding Hezbollah and drawing lessons for managing hostile activities against Israel.
In recent times, he also played a role in pushing Hezbollah to carry out terrorist operations against the State of Israel.
Israel will not allow the positioning of Iranian terrorist elements on Lebanese soil in a manner that harms the State of Lebanon's reconstruction process and bolsters Hezbollah's power.
The Defense Army will continue operations against attempts to rebuild and arm Hezbollah, and will act decisively to remove any threat to the citizens of the State of Israel.
