He hit 3 and also hit a jumper with his toe on the line! I don't anticipate that happening very often, but if he can just hit at 30% it makes him that much more dangerous on the offensive end.

DeJounte and Walker have exceeded my expectation these first two games.

Murray this game was converting fast breaks, going to the basket, and making them is great to see.

I'm a little disappointed Vassell isn't getting more run. He is doing great things when he's on the floor. Had problems with dragging his foot on the sideline on the close out tonight but still.

Liking what I'm seeing so far. Keldon grabbing that final board over Baynes was huge.

Spurs started 3-0 last year and came back down to earth hard. This start does seem a little different though, but I'll hold off on getting too excited. So far they seem to be sticking to the style that made them play better in the bubble and I am liking what I see from the young guns with more PT. Should only get better when White returns. Defense still looks rough at times but I'm liking Pop's lineup choices so far.

DD said something interesting post game last night, and said that he's "always" had a 3 pt game but just never took those shots. I don't buy that, but am really glad he may have embraced that part of his game. Him and LMA jacking up some 3s consistently is really going to open up this offense for Lonnie, KJ, Murray and White when he comes back. Whether or not they actually go in. But if they can hit those shots even at a average clip, look Tf out

It'll be interesting to see how we can matchup defensively tonight. New Orleans starts Steven Adams and Zion. I imagine that Keldon will get the first shot at guarding Zion.

Defense was excellent. Offense not so much. Missing shots and the ball movement just isn't like it was the first couple games.

Offense was not good that half. We settled for way too many jump shots and didn't attack the basket like we needed to. Only shooting 40% so far. Defense has been good but free throws have kept New Orleans in the game. We're 2/2 from the free throw line and the pels are 13/15. We guarded Ingram and Zion about as well as you can that first half.

Wonder if something is wrong with Johnson. He was playing great and didn't get a lot of time.

15 assists in the half (7 by DD) is pretty fantastic.

DD is 0-3 from 3, but the good news is he has taken 3 threes!

Good god turnovers.

Turnovers and not getting back on defense...after made buckets. Will be a great game to learn from.

Bench unit closed the quarter well to cut it to 8. Pop has been pretty balanced in his minutes and rotations but if we're gonna have a chance in this game, he needs to cut it down. LA needs to stay on the bench the rest of the game and Rudy hasn't been much better.

Jakob is so much better on D than Aldridge. You're right, gay and Aldridge need to take a seat.

Terrible officiating. They let Ingram lower his shoulder twice now and get away with it.

Well that was a terrible play out of timeout. That Demar and 1 foul and tech lost the momentum for them.

The team seemed a little tired from last night but good experience for the young guys. Does anyone know when White will return?

The pelicans got a lot of whistles and a lot of lucky bounces on our second night of a back to back. Not too upset with this loss. Although that last play was doo doo.

Tough loss. Credit to New Orleans for playing some really good defense and forcing us to hit jumpers for most of the game. We didn't shoot well, turned it over way too much, and it didn't help that the refs let the pels play much more physical than us. On the other hand, it was nice to see us fight back and take the lead in the 4th after getting down 15 in the 3rd.

Our vets need to be better. Demar has been excellent the first two games and the pels kept him out of the paint. It's gonna happen every now and then, but he wasn't creating for others either. LaMarcus hasn't been good at all this season so far and tonight he was really bad. Thankfully Pop benched him for the 4th but man he's killing us right now. Rudy got it going that 4th quarter and was better on both ends.

Jakob played really well tonight. He does so much for us defensively and rebounding that he's just a better fit than LA. Lonnie had a solid game and I thought he did a pretty good job defending Ingram.

Pelicans did a really good job defending us the entire night and did and excellent job taking away the 3 on that last play (Lonnie could have had a wide open dunk). In hindsight, take the easy 2 and try for a steal or foul.

On the flip side, we defend Zion really well. 18 points on 22 shots is what you want, especially considering we guarded him with Keldon and Rudy for most of the night. A lot credit also goes to Jakob coming over from the help side and getting several blocks.

Hasn't been a set date for White's return. Pop said soon, but left it vague.

Pretty much sums up our offensive issues. Part of the credit certainly goes the NO, but we also played very passive for the first three quarters.

It's been a crazy day in the NBA .

Mavericks beat Clippers 124-73. Halftime score was 77-27

Charlotte beat Brooklyn 106-104

Knicks beat the Bucks 130-110

Cavaliers are 3-0 and beat the 76ers 118-94

I know anything can happen on any given night but that's alot of upsets on one day.
