Next up is the first of two home games against LAL on Wednesday. Would be great if we could split those. Hopefully White will be back.

Might be an over reaction but when you see how much we are going to clear from LMA's contract versus how much he has contributed to open the season makes me think we have a lot to offer to a free agent next summer.
We will have enough for a max FA if LMA and DD both leave.SanAntonio said:

Zion's line when guarded by Keldon Johnson:
2 points
1/7 FG
1 turnover
1 shot blocked
The west is so tough. I think the Spurs will make the playoffs but I know that may be wishful thinking more than reality. I do like what I am seeing from the young players, especially Keldon. I think they are at least a year away from being legit contenders but they will be fun to watch this year.Enzo The Baker said:
Spurs are looking better than expected but there are 11 other teams with chances of making the playoffs (OKC, MEM, and MIN have no chance). A lot of sure fire playoff contenders have losing records right now. It will be a fun year of ups and downs with , hopefully, further development for our group. But realistically, I see a playoff playin position as best case scenario. The west is just so tough.

Spurs cut it to 5 then the Lakers get a 5 point possession to end the half. We missed a lot of layups and open shots too. It sucks it takes a Pop ejection to get the officials' attention.
Totally agree with this. But our guys didn't quit and kept it relatively close til the end. It did hurt that LA didn't play and Jacob got in foul trouble early. I like Eubanks but there is a reason he is 3rd string.Enzo The Baker said:
Officials again not calling it consistently. BS.

What's the best way to watch the Spurs? Now that YouTube tv cut fssw, I can't watch any games. Am I missing something?

Lakers pull away late for the win, but Johnson finishes with 26 points and 10 rebounds in 35 minutes.
Also, turns out there is some NBA rule against calling an offensive foul on Lebron in the last three minutes of a close game.

That no call on what should have been a charge was huge. It would have been a two point game and our ball, instead it's 4 and our entire possession has to change because of it.

Also would help of both of our centers didn't score 0 points.
The Rudy at the 5 thing is interesting. Maybe that's a way for Vassell to get some playing time. Doubt it happens. Bummer he is likely destined for a year on the bench.
