Full on cope mode: There's a decent defensive floor there. He tested well athletically and has the second highest standing reach of all non-centers in the draft. He had the highest defensive performance rating of all players on Tennessee on EvanMiya. He obviously has plenty of room to fill out. It's a big-shouldered frame that is pretty comparable to Giannis when he was drafted.

Obviously the offensive stuff was bad at Tennessee but it was good on the HS circuit. 42% from 3 and 90% FT in 3SSB.

You have to wonder if he is absolutely crushing these workouts for teams to be angling for him in the top 10 after the season he just had...

So the choice could be between Flemings and Burries.

Yeah, now that I think about it, could just as likely be New Orleans in a Murphy trade. Would be crazy work to have to give up a good player to get back the pick you just gave up 365 days ago lol.

If New Orleans traded Trey Murphy for #8, it would mean they essentially gave up the unprotected Pacers 2026 1st and Trey Murphy for Derik Queen.
